Pros: Cheap AnyTime access Cons: It has become VERY unreliable
I've been using Freeserve for a couple of years. I found the service reliable and good value for money. However, lately the service is at the point of becoming unusable... It takes many dial attempts to finally connect and then after some minutes the...
Having subscribed to the Anytime service for 15 months, enough is enough. The quality of the service has deteriorated in proportion to the rise in the subscriptions and the constant e-mails telling the bemused customers how the service is improving....
Pros: You can always connect first time. Cons: Sometimes slow.
Well....a very good isp here. Iv been with them now for 2 years on a special tariff called "freeserve hometime". Which lets you surf the internet as much as you like 6pm-8am monday to friday and all weekend.
Pros: You can leave. Cons: See the long list in the main body.
Freeserve seems only interested in paying off its' massive debts. The service it provides stinks. Customers seem to be right at the bottom of its' list of priorities. It is unusable as an ISP.
Well I don't know where all these good reviews are coming from, but they must be from new users or something. I was using the "free" service where you just pay your phone bill, which I must admit gave a good connection. But,I thought moving on to their...
Pros: Cheap, reliable and fast Cons: very expensive and non-helpful technical support
Have you ever subscibed to an ISP just for technical help? I Know a lot of people do, but there is also a lot of people that will never use it. If you do use it then Aol is your isp. But if you dont, rather than having free technical support you can save...
Pros: Reliable and can connect straight away! Cons: It is quite expensive!
I connected to Freeserve through their website and i found that it was very reliable. You could connect to the internet within 20 seconds and almost first time every time. The only drawback to this service is that it is quite expensive as you are dialing...
Pros: Great range of services. Easy to install. Cons: Can be slow to connect.

Pros: Good connections - and going to get better according to Freeserve. Cons: None that I can think of.
When the 'phone bill reached £120 a quarter within six months of connecting to the internet something had to be done. We signed up to one of British Telecom's internet packages - Surftime. You have to choose one of BT's approved ISP's and, of those on...
When my mums phone bill was comming to, well lets just say TOOOO much a quater and most of it was on the net, we decided we had to get a free internet provider that gave ur calls free as well.
First we chose a company based in london called Visual...
Freeserve was the first ISP in the UK to offer Internet access without a monthly fee. This was the reason I signed up with them because I wasn't sure how much I would use the Internet.
The service was quite good, but I couldn't connect on a...
