Pros: Photo real icons, dock bar, smb sharing, multitask, more stable than OS9
Cons: Some hacking involved, puny SMB features, not many progs, poor support. Overrated.

Pros: Beautiful OS, stable, easy to use, secure, many UNIX based apps, great graphic apps
Cons: Many Mac apps do not yet run in native OS X mode
Summary: Five years ago I left Mac OS for Windows NT because the Mac OS just did not have the stability and functionality I needed for hard core Web development. I am please to say that I have not started the migration back to Mac and it is because of OS X.
