Pros: reasonable tuition, small classes, nice teachers, plentiful computer labs Cons: single section upper-division classes, parking far from classes, super size puddles, Internet access unreliable

Pros: One of the safest universities in the nation Cons: In construction right now
Summary: Summer ended for me as of Aug.16th. It was the first day of moving in at Eastern Illinois University(EIU). I already got all of that junk of getting accepted to a university. Eastern had everything I wanted and more.

Pros: Large enough to offer a wide variety of programs and facilities Cons: Not widely known outside Illinois
Summary: Many students say they like Eastern because it's small, yet the enrollment tops 10,000. Compared with the University of Illinois, 60 miles down the road, it is relatively small. Compared with many other schools, it's pretty large. Eastern feels small ... read more

Pros: you get to become part of Pemberton history - a lot of pride in the building, one of the best dining halls on campus! Cons: it's old - but they have put in new windows - no air condition
