Pros: Small, quiet, centered in Marietta Cons: Dorms are at the bottoms of hills, classroom buildings at top.
Many high school seniors are busy preparing for the future. Along with studying for finals, getting ready for prom, and waiting for graduation, looking for a good college is at the top of the list. And Marietta College can be a part of that list. ...

Pros: Campus size and classroom size. I did not need a car. Cons: Pike Street - always be careful crossing the traffic out by the stadium.
As an alumnus of Marietta College, I can tell you that this school is serious about providing a quality education. Capital reinvestment in faculty and facility never ceases. It is a small Liberal Arts college in an historic working-class small town. If that is your personality type, you will fit right in. Classes are small and taught by approachable professors, not grad students. You will forge friendships that last a lifetime and get an excellent education in the process. Yes, campus parties can get out of hand like any other school and the campus can get rough on the edges at times. Welcome to the real world. You are not pampered and sequestered here. If you want to be ready to face the world on graduation day with insight, critical thinking, leadership and confidence, then Marietta College should be a serious consideration.
