    Pros: Workbooks were helpful
Cons: Overpriced, over inclusive and repetitive, bad customer service

Summary: I spent all the money and got the new course. I should have just bought used books. Over-priced. Not needed. I didn't even follow the study schedule, didn't listen to all of the iPod lectures and still passed very well. The MBE workshop is so worthless; ... read more

    Pros: I did pass.
Cons: BARBRI kind of annoys me.

Pros: Thorough, covers all required subject areas, knowledgable lecturers, practice exams, practice questions
Cons: Expensive, some subject matter is drier than others, needs state MBE subject video lectures

Summary: Ah, the Bar Exam--that monster of a test that law professors scare you with all throughout law school. And for good cause--it surely is not your average multiple choice test. Instead of having one clearly correct answers and three clearly wrong answers, ... read more

  • The 500 pound gorilla of the bar review world.

Pros: Pacing; excellent lecturers; good coverage of MBEs and the performance exam
Cons: Expensive - but worth it, no doubt

    Jan 6, 2003
    Pros: Thorough
Cons: Not focused enough, and difficulty getting in touch with people for help.

Summary: I took part of Barbri's home study course, as well as their lecture series in Jan/Feb, 2002. The tapes were of poor quality. I had to purchase a boom box to hear many of them. Also, many broke while playing them, causing delays. Most of the ... read more

Pros: Good study guides; experienced lectures
    Cons: Expensive but necessary
