Is it worth it?

by Sharkie , Oct 10 '00
Pros: Excellent Review
Cons: none
Those who are planning to enter university soon while be required to write the SAT, and most likely the SAT II. The Princeton Review is an excellent review one of the far better SAT books I have looked through. I currently purchased the SAT II, writing...

Grammar or Grammer?

by cgbruin , May 11 '00
Pros: Helps with grammar, writing style
Cons: Expensive, may not be required
The SAT II subject tests are tests which are definitely more "studyable" than the SAT I test. When I say this, I mean that the SAT I and II differ in the type of preparation that is necessary to succeed. For instance the SAT I requires a...

Princeton Review not only reviews, but teaches

by da_poolnazi , May 20 '00
Pros: Helps all level students
Cons: A little pricey
I got started with the Priceton Review Company towards the end of my sophomore year in high school. I had just completed an A.P. United States History class that was taught by a professor who must have mistaken the words "U.S. History" with...

Definately Worth It

by Brelise , Dec 20 '00
Pros: Smart investment in the long run, guarantees 100 point increase minimum, young but VERY qualified teachers, teach good SAT strategies
Cons: The price, but again, it is worth it
I took this course last summer while I was doing the Penn State Summer Enrichment Program, and took both the Math and Verbal classes. Each class was 90 minutes ( for total of 180 min. for both the math and verbal) every week day, for 3 and a half weeks....

Princeton Review--A Great Study Aid

by TboneCentral , May 05 '00
Pros: good resources, texts, practice tests
Cons: another school day in the week!
Most students cringe at the thought of another standardized test that probably will not reflect their actual education performance in the least, but nevertheless, the are needed to go to a good college. So, now that we've berated the ETS's SAT program,...

Short-Term Knowledge

by humbick , May 18 '02
Pros: Great Teachers, Practice Tests, Homework, Free Study Guides/Books
Cons: Costly, Unorganized, Not Flexible With Time
One month left until SAT IIs, you have to study. I left my SAT II preperation until the "last minute", but I was not harmed after being able to get classes with Princeton Review.

The Princeton Reviewed

by Hlonearth , Dec 04 '00
Pros: Helps with time management, question strategies and brings up mid-level scores to upper mid level
Cons: cramps the style of comfortable test takers
To be frank I was not very impressed with the Princeton Review's program but I think to some people it is very useful. If you are someone who has already taken the pSATs and feels comfortable with the way you take tests I don't think the Princeton Review...

Princeton Review SAT II Course

by han84solo , Nov 29 '00
Pros: small classes, funny teachers, individual attention, gaurantees a raise in score
Cons: high prices
Princeton Review was an overall helpful course for me. I believe it helped to raise my scores. the classes are small, with about fifteen students. Individual attention is given, and after-class help is provided as well. the teachers are young and...

Terrible experience
by claudiablonde ,Oct 13 '05
Pros: none
Cons: unprofessional staff
Hi everyone,
Our entire group is so disappointed with Princeton Review.
When we had our first class, the teacher didn't show up at all! Besides, they have changed the location and didn't inform anybody. When we came to the new location, people there were very unprofessional and rude. They were not informed that our instructor is absent. Therefore, they completely ignored us and didn't help us at all. Everybody was so stressed out. The next two classes have been canceled. They told us to come on Thursday for a class and again it was canceled. I don't know about the other students but nobody called me to let me know that this class was canceled. I made two hours trip just to find out that there would be no class.
This is so unprofessional. It looks that all they care is the money; after that they will forget about you.
