Pros: great sound, inexpensive Cons: not enough bass
These headphones have great sound when listening to any kind of music. they have a frequency response from 5Hz to 25kHz so the soundstage is excellent. The high frequencies are crisp and clear. The power handling is quite good, I can turn the volume up...

Pros: Extremely comfortable, Great sound quality, Great price Cons: none
I think these are the best headphones I have ever owned. They are also better than many other, more expensive headphones that my friends have, like $100 Sony's. These have a VERY nice sound quality and are EXTREMELY comfortable!
It also...

Pros: Good Quality Headphones, durable, and handy mute button. Cons: After two hours of use you might feel a little discomfort.
I purchased my Aiwa HP-X222 around a year and a half ago. These headphones replaced some very low quality headphones I had at the time and it was a big upgrade. The headphones have a comfy fit and they snuggle quite gently around the ear area. Although,...

Pros: Strong sound.
Sits AROUND the ears. Cons: Heavy.
Good ear muffs.
Due to the fact that I bought these phones based on the other reviews I won't say much about their technical/acoustic/style. Read the other reviews and trust them!!

Pros: 10 foot cord, large adapter plug, mute button, look ok cosmetically. Cons: a bit bulky, crappy BASS, strange head size adjustment, Made in China
I was doing some research to get a new pair of headphones and stumbled upon this site. I needed a new pair since my old ones(JVC HA-D500 made in Japan) were broken on a flight by my silly girlfriend, who pushed against the plug as they were plugged in. I ...

Like Distortion? Get a pair of these!
by scotwithone_t ,Dec 30 '03
Pros: Comfy fit. Decent outside sound blocking. Cons: Lots of distortion in the mids and highs. Bass artificially high.
I was looking for a pair of headphones to replace my old ones that were my dad's from the 1970's. I use them plugged into my guitar amplifier when I play at night. These headphones sounded TERRIBLE. There is too much bass, and the mids and highs are horribly distorted. The old 1970's headphones of my dad's sounded 100 times better. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I figured that speaker technology would have improved over the last 30 years.
If all you listen to is ghetto-rap, with no mids or highs, then these might be alright for you. They did a decent job of blocking outside noise, and felt fairly comfortable on my head.
