Pros: Holds six GB of digital audio, has multiple playback options Cons: Ugly, short battery life, software and hardware must be continuously updated
I purchased two player a little over a year ago. At the time, they were selling for $500.00, they are now in the $250.00 range. Your music is organized by artist, album, genre or play lists. One can use the included software to organize and then...

Pros: The ultimate portable walkman. Period. Cons: None I can think of.
When I heard this puppy could hold 150 hours worth of CD quality sounding music on it, it wasn't a question of if, but when I was going to have it. It's simple use, as well as upgradability (see...

Pros: palm-size(light),extern hard drive,MP3 player Cons: if u can afford it
Before u go out and buy a jukebox, check out the 6 GB MP3 player and external hard drive from Archos; unlike Creative Labs, Archos did not bow down to the recording industry, and did mot make the Archos SDMI compliant. This is a good thing. It means you...

Pros: Great sound quality
Holds lots of music Cons: A bit bulky
Sometimes confusing to work with
I was once like you: confused, wondering where I could find a really good MP3 player for a cheap price. Well, after researching the internet (And other epinions too), I decided to buy the Nomad Jukebox 6GB off of E-bay for $117. I was a bit nervous....

Pros: Stores 100-150 CD's, good user interface. Good bundled software Cons: Heavy, eats batteries quickly. No all-track shuffle mode
Early Nomad Jukeboxes were not that impressive..The bundled software to transfer files to it was extremely buggy and crashed no less than 20 times during my putting 5.5 gigs of music on it. Later revisions are almost bug free though!
I love...

Pros: Storage, Size, Ability to Update Cons: Battery Life, Instructions
In about a month I leave for College ... since the trip I was supposed to go on didn't pan out my parents gave me some money to do with as I pleased. Now I'm a music junkie so when I saw Creative's new Jukebox I was interested ... I compared it to a few...

Pros: Lots of capacity Cons: Line in recording is horrible!
I bought the NOMAD JUKEBOX (NJB) to be able to record live music in uncompressed, WAV format and then conveniently upload the WAV file to a PC for editing. During recording (with a Sony ECM-MS907 mic) the NJB introduces a lot of background noise (high...

Pros: decently sized and looks neat Cons: No cig lighter adaptor, and the screen is too small
In general, it's pretty well done, but it's the first generation of its kind, and there's a number of things that could be better.
Good points: * 6gigs is nice, but easy to fill up. * Size is fine for home or car use * Navigation and use of...

Pros: Storage capacity, EAX Cons: Price, no fast forward or rewind, not as customizable as thought to be
The Nomad Jukebox is really the beginning of the next step in mp3 storage/players. The 6 gig storage space (actually it is about 5.8 gigs) is great, the EAX is cool, the layout is easy, the style is sleek and obviously I really liked the product in...

Pros: Large Storage Capacity Cons: Crashes, Can't Record MP3s, Buggy
If you are looking for a portable recorder with 100 hours of recording time don't look here. This product misrepresents itself and provides primitive functionality from a company that still can't figure out the basics.
What I needed was a...

Pros: Easy to take with you anywhere! Cons: The price!
I bought a Nomad Jukebox to not have to carry around a backpack full of CDs with me in the car to school. I have nothing but good things to say about the Nomad Jukebox. It's interface is extremely easy to use, and takes almost no time to learn. It has...

Pros: 6 gig storage of mp3's, twice that with latest .wma standard! Cons: Initial cost, but prices are much lower now.
The Creative Nomad Jukebox may not have been the first, but it is still the best. Originally a $430 item, they now sell for $279 retail. A 6 gigabyte hard drive, they hold about 100-150 CD's worth of MP3 files. But if you download the latest .wma...

Pros: Tons of music on the palm of your hand. Cons: Slow access, BAD battery management, noisy recordings, difficult operation.
Creative Labs stroke very close, but missed the mark nevertheless.
The concept is great, but the execution is flawed to the point that one of the main selling features of the product -that you can record MP3s with a microphone or a line-level sound...

Pros: Everything about it Cons: It takes a little while to load up once you get about 1000 songs.
The Nomad Jukebox is definitley an item you want to add to your "things to get" list. This is a great portable player for music fanatics, and people who just like listening to music. I have had mine for about a year and I still absolutely love it. It...
