Pros: Take your music with you, anywhere. Cons: Poor control layout, case does not allow access to controls.
My relationship with the Nomad started out very rocky. I found the controls awkward and laborious. My first unit had a few problems that went away when amazon.com sent me a replacement (after my request). These problems included low output level and...

Pros: It hold's a lot of Mp3's. Don't have to bring Cd's to work. Cons: Battery Life. Large & Heavy but hey it basically a small computer for music.
I've played with lot's of Mp3 & Music products. This is by far the best. I recommend using Kazaa or Mopheus to get free music (both free & downloadable at CNET) then easily importing the music you get free into your Nomad Jukebox via the bundled...

Pros: Stores tons of music. Cons: Not a true portable.
Silly digital sound effects.
Horrible battery life.
I bought this after I returned my Archos. The Creative jukebox with software upgrades works without problems for me. I have stored over 140 albums on it. Different bit rates depending on how much I like the album.
You can store MP3's and WMA...

Pros: Fabulous design, incredible audio quality, gigantic storage, everything you could ever want. Cons: Crap for battery life.
I like many people have a large collection of Mp3s. I did have a Sony Walkman before this that I was very satisfied with. My biggest hate with my CD player was the constant burning of CD's. I decided to go Mp3 and went searching on Ebay. I got my...

This is the greatest mp3 player ever. Here is why:

With 6GB of memory, this baby can hold more songs than all other removable memory mp3 players. What's more, you can even upgrade the hard drive to 20GB! (See...

Pros: I purchased this unit to play music 24 hours a day for my office telephones. Cons: No commitment to service.
I bought the Nomad Juke Box thinking that since it had no moving parts, it could play 24 hours a day when hooked up to my office phone system to provide music to callers put on hold. After a month of this continuous use the unit felt a bit warm so I...

Pros: Large Memory; good quality Cons: Poor tech. support; truncates songs
I selected This creative labs product because of the large hard drive and good music quality. I found the USB connector was not being recognized by my laptop and on a second PC, napster MP3 files were being truncated in the transfer to Nomad. (3:04...

Pros: Huge storage. You can download improvements. Cons: Size is large.
I received the Nomad a year ago as a gift before I took a multi-day cross country trip on the train. It was great entertainment, the only that I did not like about the product was that the battery life is too short.
Nomad contains some...

Pros: That is one monster hard drive Cons: Just what the heck is that infrared port for?
When I bought this I was a little leary of spending that much money for an mp3 player. What if the sound is horrible? What if the battery life is too low? What if the interface is clunky? Well I was wrong on all cases. I got a great player. The...

Pros: Quality, Capacity Cons: Price
Simply..... Awesome. The Nomad Jukebox is the best mp3=player out there. The extensive amount of space available for songs is incredible. Don't spend your money on those cd players which read burned mp3's cause there a waste.

Pros: huge storage space, dropping price. Cons: Display cumbersome and slow to load.
This product became well worth the money only after I bought a power adapter for my home, office and a jack for my car. It's bulky to ride around with a cassette adaptor and another adaptor trailing from my lighter socket. But I am a music junkie and I...

Pros: unlimited storage Cons: price, size, menus menus and more menus
I've had the nomad jukebox for a month now. The idea is in the right place but the design isn't. First of all it looks just like a cd-player. One of the reasons to buy an mp3 player is because of the size. Another thing, the batery life! 4 AA...

Pros: Largest storage for any available mp3 player. sounds great. easy interface. Cons: Needs an easier random play feature (1 button)
I had looked at all the MP3 players on the market and came to the conclusion the the Creative Nomad Jukebox was the one. The price seems high until you consider that with other players you will need to buy extra memory cards (very expensive) to store any...

Pros: Great sound, huge capacity Cons: Battery life
I have been looking for a MP3 player for a long time. The lack of storage was the key issue. I did not intend to use it for strenuous activities, so solid state was not an issue. The Nomad Jukebox really met all of my requirements and more. Sure...
