When I first got this, I liked it very much. It is easy to use, small, and you don't need to install software. I got it because you can buy as many minidiscs as you want and have 80 minutes in each. The minidiscs are cheap. So I got it and it was the...

by db1986 , Aug 14 '01
Pros: Excellent sound quality, portable, easy to use.
Cons: Handphones included in package not so good, no other complaints.
This Minidisk package is a great buy because you eventually save back the money you spent on it, along with good sound quality, easy-to-use features, and an included Digital PC Link, which I am in fact at this moment using to download the Linkin Park...

The Best Of Both Worlds

by star2002 , Apr 14 '02
Pros: lightweight, small, and comes equipped with little extras.
Cons: can be on expensive side of portable electronics.
After careful research during my endeavor to buy portable audio equipment I stumbled upon the SONY MZ-R700 mini-disc recorder and player. It is very small (3”x 3”x 1”) and easily transportable. When you buy the player you receive lots of little...

Cons: hard for non-techys to figure out
I was excited to get a mini-disc player for graduation because it sounded pretty cool. It's small and light, and it does both the recording and playing. Sounds great, right?

The Sony R700 :) + :(

by tocooldrew99 , Dec 29 '01
Pros: Excellent Sound, Good Style, Burn 4 CD's to 1 MD
Cons: Expensive, Remote is no good.
I got this MD player/burner for Christmas and had been asking for it for a while. Sony doesn't do a good job of explaining how it works, like how the mp3's or format music get's to the md. What I thought was that it added an extra drive to your computer...
