Great Buy!

by Halfbuck , Dec 25 '00
Pros: Image Quality, CF Card Slot, Flash, USB
Cons: No LCD, No Video Out, Batteries
It was time for my first digital camera. After many hours of research, clicking through web sites, I took a chance on the Agfa ePhoto CL20. Like many just getting into digital photography, I simply wanted decent pictures at a decent price. This pocket...

A Decent Digital Camera for a Reasonable Price

by neeterskeeter , Dec 20 '00
Pros: affordable, high quality pictures, holds a lot of pictures, USB port, pocket-sized, so it's easy to carry around.
Cons: 7-second wait time in between pictures.
I have been wanting my own digital camera for quite some time. My family had a JoyCam digital camara, but the quality on that was so low that it was not worth it to take pictures. Plus, I went to college and it stayed with them in a different state....

Decent camera for web images..

by ogungrrl , Feb 14 '01
Pros: CompactFlash, USB, has flash, great outdoor image quality, good for web or beginner
Cons: Short battery life, so-so indoor pic quality
I bought this camera because I'm on a tight budget, yet I needed a digital camera to take decent photos for my webpage and for my scrapbooking hobby. I was going to buy the CL18 because I read rave reviews on it and even saw someone's online photo album...

by bickstan , Feb 01 '01

Cons: Flash distance, poor results in room light
I want a digital elph. I can afford the CL20. No one can find fault with the pictures from this baby! (3x5 4x6)Outpost.com sold mine with a free 8meg CF card! 46 good res. shots on the card and 6 more with internal memory. The colors are amazing and...

Great little camera, great value

by marksnegg , Sep 19 '01
Pros: Good value, good photos, simple to use
Cons: None
I have now been using this camera for about 8 months and I'm really happy with it. I'm not a photo nut, I just wanted a low-priced camera which would take reasonable quality pictures, and the Agfa CL20 exceeded my expectations. With a memory card it can...

Not Worth the Retail Price!!

by rtd126 , Dec 23 '01
Pros: Nice picture as a web camera when the lighting is good.
Cons: Photos are mediocre. Lighting can effect web camera adversely
I bought the camera off of E-Bay for $65 so I think I got a good deal. But the retail price is way too high for the performance you receive from the product. While taking pictures and using the webcam the room lighting can make the pictures way too...

Very good Webcam, reasonable digital camera

by antoniof , Mar 24 '01
Pros: Price/Quality, agfanet prints, size, software bundle, versatility
Cons: battery life, flash too strong with artificial lights, long time between shots.
I bought this camera to use it as a webcam with the additional option of taking some quick shots and get them immediately to the PC to email them. I bought it online from a German web site, www.alternate.de. I live in Belgium, the camera's price was...

Snaptastic

by benmiladdio , Mar 05 '01
Pros: Price, ease of use, size.
Cons: Battery life, flimsy USB cover
All I want is a cheap, easy to use point-and-click camera that'll fit nicely in my pocket, so I can take it wherever I want - and this pretty much fits the bill. I'm sure the purists will sneer, but what the hey. If you have to spend half an hour...

Pack it in your pocket, and don't worry about it.

by MaasNeotek , Jun 27 '01
Pros: Small, inexpensive, easy
Cons: No-LCD, so-so image quality, batteries
While this camera isn't a stellar performer in the digital arena, it does boast several features that warrant merit. For a sub $150.00 camera, you get 1280x960 images at about 70% JPEG compression, the ability to drop in a Compact flash card, and USB...

Good camera for beginners

by u2fille , Jul 11 '01
Pros: Inexpensive, good pictures in good lighting conditions
Cons: weak flash, video-conferencing feature is kinda crummy too
I got this camera for about $50 on ebay (it retails for around $140), and have been very happy with my purchase. I've been wanting to try out a digital camera for some time now, but don't have the $300+ to buy a really nice one. This camera is small...

Great price, terrible image quality.

by StretchSJE , Dec 22 '00
Pros: Lightweight, small, great webcam
Cons: Picture quality
I had high hopes for this camera because it uses a CCD sensor to pick up images. However, the picture quality is terrible! To get an idea of what the pictures turn out like, take a picture and turn the contrast and color saturation up so high that...

Perfect start up camera.

by olya_s , Dec 05 '01
Pros: Easy to handle, good quality with enough light, webcam too.
Cons: Flash kills batteries, bad with low light, no macro mode.
I bought this camera because it was the best resolution my budget could afford. It is perfect. I got a 16 meg card to go with it, and during one day i take an average of 100 photos on maximum resolution. The camera is perfect for beginner/hobby...
