Pros: For it's size there is nothing to touch it on price Cons: limited features, fiddly eyepiece, NTSC out only
I have held back from buying a Digital camera for some time now, simply because I have never liked the size of the current camera's, nor the price! I read about the forthcoming Kodak DC3800 camera, and by all accounts it looked like this was going to be...
Pros: Amateur photographers can take great shots with the DC-3800 Cons: Eyepiece rather small, 8 MB card too limited
The DC-3800 is a great little digital camera for amateurs or nervous photographers. It democratizes photography - allowing the photographically challenged to take amazingly good photographs. Its reasonable price makes it affordable even to poor Aussies...
Pros: Sleek stylish camera that packs a whallop of Mega Pixels Cons: Battery eater like crazy, 8MB CompactFlash Card may not be enough for high resolution pictures.
Kodak is still the chief marketer for digital cameras and the DC3800 strengthen my point even more adamantly. Small compact and heavy duty, this camera offers what a 1.0 Mega Pixel digital camera cannot. Coming at an impressive 2.3 Mega Pixel, the DC3800...
Pros: small, automatic protective lense cap, ease of use, USB card reader, using standard flash memory Cons: quality of images, lack of control & settings, heavy blurring, poor shutter speed,
The Kodac D3800 lacks many of the features most people desire in a camera. For example, most people like clear photos, non-blurry photos. I have found it extremely difficult to create an image without it blurring. This mainly covers indoor...
Pros: Easy to use, can view and delete photos before downloading, catches the moment well Cons: uses up batteries in no time, 8 mb way too little memory.
This is the first digital camera I have owned and it is a great experience. The design is sleek and comfortable, it takes great pictures with high enough resolution to be worth printing, and it has several different menu commands that are very useful....
Pros: Nice pictures, portable size, nice accessory bundle, uses common AA batteries Cons: Slow, slow, slow...Missed the zoom more than I thought I would.
The Kodak DC3800 Zoom is a nice digital camera, if all you expect of it is to capture "happy snaps" that will make nice prints. What it won't do is overwhelm you with features, buttons and capabilities.
Although the camera is billed as a "Zoom"...
Pros: Small, easy to hold. Easy access to features. Cons: Batteries can last only 25 pictures or so.
For those with a little more experience in the digital camera area, this is a good camera to have. The price is a good deal, and you definitely get what you pay for. I bought this camera from an auction site, too.
Great little compact camera with... by newpee_dt3000 ,Jan 24 '03
Great little compact camera with excellent quality, easy transfer and a reasonable price.
Just be sure to get the quick charger and batteries or else you'll use all the money you saved on this great camera to buy batteries. Easy to use as well.
This camera is an easy to use, small point and shoot camera. I bought rechargeable AA batteries because the battery life is pretty short. If I remember to take along the extra batteries then it is great. If I forget, then I am out of luck for the day. Plugging into the computer to download pictures is very easy. I bought extra memory, which gives me plenty of pictures to take. The picture quality is very good.
