DMR-E20: Big improvement Over DMR-E10 Model, but Good Bye VCR?

by green-z Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Nov 22 '01
Pros: DMR-E20 adds DVD-R recording
Cons: No optical input, or progressive scan output.
The major flaw of the the DMR-E10 is that it is DVD-RAM only. That means you play your recordings in normal DVD players since DVD-RAM uses cartridges that won't fit in them. Panasonic fixed this with their second generation player, the DMR-E20. This unit...

by samijubal , Sep 06 '01

Cons: Discs hard to find, and kind of expensive.
This recorder is unbelievable. The picture and sound record exactly as you see and hear them on your TV. There is no loss of picture or sound quality at all, even in the slowest speed. Makes old VCR recordings much more clear and less distorted, with...
