Pros: good picture, good sound Cons: struggles to read many VCD's, died in 14 months
Summary: My player died on me within 14 months of purchase. I have taken great care of the product, used only good, scratch free media and also used the lens cleaner on it. In the end, after about 14 months of service, it died on me (refuses to read any media, ... read more

Pros: 5 disk carousel, multiple CD play without changing, component hookup for better processing Cons: no CD-R, mp3, progressive scan support, figuring out how to get CDs to eject
Summary: The DVD-CV50 was purchased largely based on prior experience with Panasonic products (very reliable) and the fact that it was a "changer".

Pros: 5 Disc Changer with built in Dolby Digital Decoder, Great Video and Sound Cons: Is not too user friendly

Pros: Quality, A/V options, Dolby Digital decoding, plays some CD-RWs, overall value Cons: Doesn't play any CD-Rs, changer is a little slow, controls not intuitive, OUTDATED
Summary: It's not a bad model, really. However, with the newly Panasonic updated version of this model- the DVD-CV51, I couldn't possibly recommend buying this particular model at all.
The only bad things about this model are what it lacks. Everything ... read more

Pros: Sound and picture Cons: Ease of use will have you so frustrated you'll throw it out the window!
Summary: It's something of a craze when you see all your friends, family, neighbors getting something you don't have. For about all I could think of at least for the last three years is to own one of those DVD's. I didn't just want the one disk one, no I ... read more
