Pros: Possesses great technology for playing your DVDs. Cons: Possesses outdated technology that has been eclipsed by newer DVD players.
The Panasonic DVD-RV30 is a DVD player my best friend received this past Christmas as a present. Since I'm in the business of writing reviews and electronic opinions, I asked my friend if I could give this sucker a test drive and see if it's...

Pros: Solid Construction and ease of use. A great value. Cons: Lacks some of the higher end quality enhancements.
I actually own the Panasonic DVD-RV80, but in my search evaluated the RV30 as well and realize that the extras included in the RV80 may not be worth the price difference for everyone although they definitely were for me. In this review my intention is...

Pros: Inexpensive player for beginners like myself. Cons: Unless you're an video/audiophile, there are none.
When my best friend jumped on the DVD band wagon, I thought to myself, 'Geez, why pay so much for a juiced up VCR that can't even record?' Boy was I blown away when I first saw the pictures that a DVD can produce, even on 10 year old television sets....

Pros: Plays any disc, great sound and picture quality Cons: Does not play CD-R or CD-RW, or MP3 CD's
I have owned this player for 6 months now. It has never had a problem on any DVD. I have rented many DVD's and some of them were quite scratched, and it has never skipped or missed a beat. Layer changes are quick and barely noticeable. The multiple...
