Pros: Good picture quality. Cons: Problems playing even brand new DVDs.
This review will be short. I've owned a Sony DVP-S360 for a little over a year, and the experience has been marred by its trouble reading some DVDs. Of the 30 or 40 DVDs that I own, the DVD player has had problems playing about six of them out of the...

Pros: Great Quality, good price Cons: bad controls
This DVD player might not be the newest one on the market, except it gets the job done by providing great sound and picture. The sound and picture are always crisp. This is my favorite, of my two DVD players because the sound is so great. The controls...

Pros: Good quality picture. But this may apply to any DVP. Cons: Does not last long.
I bought sony DVP s360 in 4/2000 for $250+tax. And in 11/2000, it is
already under repair !! Manufacturer warranty for parts are gone in 90
days, labour warranty alone protects me now. Total repair charges ?
$159 !! I can probably buy...

Pros: LOW PRICE! Cons: NONE!
The DVP-S360 brings you advanced Sony Dvd performance in a low-profile design, with an appealingly low price tag. Sony's players have been top-rated for picture quality all along. And whether you're zipping through a DVD with SmoothScan or studying a...

Pros: Basic functions are easy to use. Remote is very ergonomic. Cons: Bringing it back from it's sleep mode is frustrating. Menus are deep and sometimes confusing.
I really do enjoy the quality of a DVD. This is my first purchase of a DVD player and I chose Sony because I have always been impressed with the quality of Sony video products. At the same time I have always found Sony to be filled with extra frills that...

Pros: good picture Cons: expensive
I recently bought a DVP-S360 DVD player for about 230 dollars. I think that it was well worth paying the money because it plays cd's and as well DVD's so it is like a stereo and a vcr in one. If you would of bought a stereo it would cost about 200...

Pros: Good basic interface. Fine video signal. Cons: Setup menus are wacky. Poor reliability.
I bought this unit and 5 days after the warranty ran out it stopped recognizing discs. At first I thought it was a problem with my disc, however it does not recognize any disc that I would put in, not CDs or DVDs.
This seems to be a known...

Pros: Simple to use, great quality picture and sound. Cons: I've nothing negative to say at all!
My husband and I purchased this as our first DVD player in July 2000. At the time, we were going to buy an advertised sale DVD player for $199, but opted to purchase this as the next step up, and it's compatible with both Digital and Dolby sound.
