Pros: Affordable. It's a Sony. Cons: Skips, won't hardly play VCD's, and mine died after 14 months.
I own a Sony TV, receiver, computer, video camera, vcr, cd player, etc.... so of course, I had to buy a Sony DVD player last year. I've always trusted Sony and have expected to pay a little more for better quality merchandise. In the case of this DVD...

Pros: Sony name and ease of use. Cons: Customer service. Product reliability.
My Sony DVP-S360 is a good paper weight. I have dealt with the skipping problem as long as I have owned the player but just considered it as very delicate and always handled it as such. Looking back I think the problem is a bad design or component...

Pros: Great picture, sound, ease of use, great price, Sony quality Cons: Occasionally skips during scene transitions
I bought the S360 because of the DTS feature and a nifty $50 rebate that was included at the time.
I enjoy the picture and sound quality that come out of the player when you have the optical cable plugged in to the receiver and the s-video...

Pros: Good sound, picture quality, etc. Cons: Have had it only a year and it doesn't work anymore. (not abused)
I bought this a year ago, and it worked great, until a month or two ago. Started breaking off in the middle of a dvd and wouldn't restart. Now it just spins and reads "NO DISC". Saw a couple of people on ebay selling their non-working player (same...
