Pros: Bass is tremendous for the price/size Cons: Nothing else besides the bass...plus, uncomfortable as heck
When I bought these headphones about 5 years ago, I had very different perceptions of audio products than I do now. I was actually primarily concerned with drowning out neighboring sounds (I had a college roommate who went to bed very early and snored...

Pros: Good range, no ringing Cons: maybe not a good choice for mobile use.
I purchased a pair in 1997 and just about wore them out. I went to replace them and I found that all headsets I liked almost as well were 3 times the ~$50 price. I was noticing that all the other headphones had a very specific digital "ringing" in the ...

Pros: Great sound quality Cons: Not portable
I bought these headphones around 1995 I think. I got them so I'd have decen head phones to listen to CDs at work. I also bought a sony component CD player and put it in my office. I put on Nine Inch Nails "I was up above it" (I think that's the title)...

Incredible for the $$$$

Pros: Generally balanced sound with strong, warm bass (which I personally prefer); excellent value; light weight. Cons: A little quiet- if you like music LOUD you'll max out an iPod's volume.
I purchased a pair of these nearly 15 years ago.... yea a decade-and-a-half... while I was doing some private DJ work. They have excellent sound quality with good bass (important to me while DJ'ing for mixing).
After getting out of the DJ work, I continued to use these for everything, mainly with my trusty portable CD player in the Navy. These headphones have been to the depths of the earth (on numerous submarines) and have literally been around the world. Even used them professionally as a radio operator (Radioman) and they never failed me.
After MANY moves and years of hard use, the foam finally gave up on the ear pads. Much to my pleasant surprise, Denon still makes them! Far superior to most of the main-stream offerings from Sony, Koss, ect. Try to find a store that carries them to hear for yourself- you'll be impressed by the sound and feel of them. Will gladly buy again!

Best there is!

Pros: Super clean sound Cons: The plastic on the earpieces sheds over time
I've owned at least 8 of these guys. Pure clean sound, excellent for monitoring. I used them in broadcasting and audio production work. Now I use 'em with my iPod. Earbuds are just plain bad. These cans rock. May they never go out of production.
