Pros: great clarity, nice bass, amazing midrange punch, very "up front" with great detail Cons: brash until they're fully burned in
The Grado SR325 (now sold as the 325i) may well be the Jan Brady of the Grado product line. Brooklyn-based Grado Labs makes some of the world's finest cans but not on the cheap. Their flagship GS1000 costs a cool grand while the classic RS1 will set ...
Pros: Dynamic, clear, detailed, warm, natural, easy to drive Cons: *Long* break in period. Not quite as comfortable as Senn's
This is the headphone who demands perfection in sound without going too overboard in price. This headphone is not cheap and may not look like much, but offers amazing sound for the money.
Pros: Great dynamic range and balance, very efficient with portable players, deep bass Cons: Less comfortable than other Grados, presence and clarity are a bit weak
I own two other Grado headphones, the SR60s and the SR125s. Based on my experience with those two models, and the general acclaim that the SR325is have received as the flagship of the Grado Prestige series, I found a good deal on-line and purchased a ...

Grado SR325 Headphones give superb reproduction of music by knibbsyp ,Apr 26 '07
Pros: Brilliant clear fast sound, with excellent bass through to treble cohesion. No significant sonic weakness. Cons: Not as comfortable as I would like - and that is it honestly.
If you like your headphones to reproduce whats on the source - whether 'old Vinyl' or CD,these headphones will not disappoint. They have good bass which is fast clear and no overhang or boom. The mid is articulate and with full harmonics and tone, they allows each inflection of the singers voice or musical instrument to be heard. Treble clear without being harsh. If you want deeper bass then other headphones can provide it, but none that I've listened to can provide the extra depth without resonance creeping in. Whilst the music is reproduced with incredible clarity it is not fatiguing.
The build quality is excellent.
The lead is a useful 2 meter long, so you don't have to sit on top of the HiFi, not so good if used with a portable whilst walking. But then why use headphones as good as these with a portable source when much less expensive headphone would be capable of reproducing the sound produced by such a source.
Only negative is lack of comfort, they are not actually uncomfortable but the ear pads are a little hard.
