Bash, pummel, explore, conquer...in comfort

by brace33 , May 24 '00
Pros: Less clutter, more convenient gaming, solid feel, easy to use,
Cons: On some games, control is less precise
My uncle bought me these controller as a Xmas gift. While perhaps not as glamorous as a Dual-Shock, I've found the wireless function to be very convenient. The cord length on a standard controller means that for most rooms, I have to stretch the wires...

Excellent for their class

by hanseugene , Jan 05 '01
Pros: Durable and very, very comfortable
Cons: Buzz at high frequencies; you get the bass you pay for
I bought these headphones at Fry's Electronics; I was looking for something cheap but durable and they've definitely fit the bill quite nicely. Without much previous experience purchasing audio equipment or headphones I didn't really didn't know what I...

I bought these TD/60 headphones for $20.00 at a fred meyer. I figured, hey, these are Koss, they gotta be good, especially for $20 bucks. And I was right. I've had these headphones for 3+ years, and they have worked great for me.

Cheap But High Quality

by Mulder , Apr 03 '00
Pros: Price, Quality
Cons: Bulk
Because I'm careless, I broke my first set of these headphones (I dropped my bookbag while they were in them). So, I set out to buy another pair. I chose to get the exact same pair again for several reasons. They're very durable (if not for my...

Not Such A Good Purchase!

by aprows , Feb 07 '00
Pros: Good Idea!
Cons: Lose signal. Don't work with Multi-Tap.
I bought a pair of wireless controllers and they are not good. O.K. so the idea is good but the design is bad. The controllers lose connection with the receiver and you can't control anything. If you run out of batteries during the middle of a game,...

wireless controllers

by shaun_rankin , Jan 27 '00
Pros: you get to stand in front of the television
Cons: u can't sit down and be comfortable
i bought a pair of wireless remotes for my playstation and the range on them is horrible. There is no reason why a brand new set of controllers isn't functioning right. I couldn't bring them back to the store so i was out of luck. I'm very upset. I...

They work

by prattguy , Jun 02 '01
Pros: Inexpensive as compared, good quality
Cons: Seem a little easy to break
Well, I have to admit, I only bought these in order that I can crank up my Pioneer receiver when watching my Elton John VCD and not blast my neighbors out of their apts, as well. So, I don't know how much you can say about a set of headphones--either...

Great Headphones, But too bulky.

by morganburger , Jun 21 '00
Pros: Good sound, comfortable, Cheap
Cons: Too big, break easy
After about 6 months of backpack abuse, my headphones fell apart. I hold them together now when I'm listening to music. They're great for in your room to listen to a computer or a boom box because of the length of the cord but they're just too big for...

Great Quality

by zer0kool , Apr 26 '00
Pros: Light weight, perfect size.
Cons: none
If you are looking for quality headphones for less, than the koss TD 60's are the way to go. I paid only $25.00 for these headphones and they are still working to this day. I still get the same outstanding sound in them today as I did two years ago when...

I say yes to Doc's Hi Tech Wireless Controller

by snowboarder13 , Nov 25 '01
Pros: Longer distance, easy to use and put away
Cons: Easy to lose,
When playing a system such as PlayStation with friends you may get the cords all tangled up which would make the distance of the controllers shorter. With Doc's cordless controllers you don't have that problem. I have used the controllers many times...

Not Quite Quality...
by noel_powell ,Jun 04 '04
Pros: Decent sound, long cable
Cons: extremely uncomfortable, doesn't fold
I've been suffering through the agonizing pain of the Koss TD/60 headphones for years. Today, I bought a pair of Maxell headphones as a replacement and when I compared the two, it suddenly became very clear that I've been missing out. Not that my maxell's are that great, but the Koss headphones are that bad.
They're angled at way so all the pressure comes from one side (the back side) of the muffs. Also, I think they're trying to be closed ear, but they don't even come close. Instead of giving your ear room to breath, they push them against the side of your head. They don't fold, so they're not as portable as many headphones, but the weight's not bad.
The sound quality is decent, but it could do better with the high frequencies. Anyway, decent sound isn't worth the physical torture of wearing them.
