Great headphones all around, a few problems though.

by armspazm , Jan 01 '01
Pros: Unbelievably lightweight, Superb quality, Surround sound is nice, Comfortable
Cons: Sound has pops when moving around at a distance, can't charge and wear headphones at the same time.
Let me start off by saying that these are good headphones. And lots of electronics become obsolete quickly, a good pair of headphones will last an individual a long time. So you shouldn't be so quick to buy a certain pair of headphones for $20 savings....

Fine set of 'phones for home or office...

by rsung , May 24 '01
Pros: Nice sound response, comfortable, good features, great range
Cons: Aircraft carrier worker look, manual tune, small switches
I was initially interested in wireless headphones after my lady friend badgered me about watching TV while she was reading. The itch became worse everytime I almost de-eared myself while sliding back to grab a printout in the office.

I did my...

Sennheiser - so nice I bought it twice

by barakhouda , Apr 06 '00
Pros: Great sound, nice design, terrific range
Cons: Slight hiss with a lot of treble
For those of you who want the short story, let me begin by saying that these headphones are superb. This is my second set; the first set is attached to my bedroom TV. I was so impressed with the sharp, clear and crisp sound of them that I had to have...

Very Good (but not perfect)

by AllenD , Nov 18 '99
Pros: Convenience, comfort, sound quality
Cons: That tiny little hiss...
I always held a strong suspicion that wireless headphones were more of a gee-whiz gadget than a serious means to reproduce sound. I never really used headphones at all much after college. Then, a couple years ago, my daughter arrived and - to put it...

Acceptable

by mbasil , Oct 08 '01
Pros: No wires, great service!
Cons: Sound is only acceptable.
I had a previous pair of wireless headphones for about 5 years. They were almost dead. So I tried a pair of Sennheiser HD-535 wired headphones. The sound was just incredible. But I couldn't get used to the wires. So I did some searching for the best...

Get the Sennheiser RS Wireless

by Tyll , Sep 01 '99
Pros: Cheap.
Cons: Everything else.
There are 2 types of wireless headphones out there: those worth the money; and those not. In my experience, these, and all other wireless cans but two fall into the latter category. The two headphone that make it into "worth the bucks" is the...

Don't buy th 900MHz model...

by J.I.M. , Oct 22 '00
Pros: None.
Cons: Wireless reception for 900MHz is TERRIBLE! You don't get your moneys worth.
Upon receiving my 900MHz RS-6, I was highly disappointed. Wanting to upgrade from the poor receiver performance of a pair of $70 Jensens I was hoping that spending the extra $$ would get me a pair of wireless headphones with great reception. After...

Awesome Headphones

by thinksuccess , Jan 13 '02
Pros: Easy to setup and the sound quality was great
Cons: The only con on this product is that I wish i found them sooner.
These are the best headphones our there. I've tried other headphones but none touches these for quality and reliability. I searched everywhere for a good deal on thes and I found them at www.stereoheadphones.net for only $99!

If you are...

Range, not Realism

by spike , Jul 13 '99
Pros: Excellent range
Cons: Very ordinary sound quality
To put it simply, there is no sub-$200 solution for wireless headphones that delivers truly amazing sound. This sennheiser offering has potential: comfortable earpieces, elegant design, simple setup and operation (although the on-headset volume control...
