Pros: Durable, comfortable, light and sound good to me! Cons: none
I've had these headphones since college and I still use them every day. I'm not a serious audiophile who can comment in detail about the dynamic range or bass response or stuff like that but they sound great to me, have always been very comfortable, and ...
I heard many years ago a comment saying “Sony televisions have the best picture quality of any television currently being sold.” Since I was in fifth grade or so and we were just doing our study of “fact vs. opinion,” I promptly told my dad that the man ...
Pros: Lightweight, great sound quality Cons: Does not have a lot of DJ features
So you are a DJ and you are looking for some headphones. The headphones need to be loud, precise, and easy to take on and off when you need to. The headphones will be used to cue in the next song. You have to be able to be able to hear the "cue...
Pros: Very good sounding, cheap Cons: Occasionally hurts
Nowadays headphones are great, they make it so nobody else can hear what your listening to, and they actually accentuate the music! Sony, is one of the leading companies related to music, and headphones in this case. Whether or not they are the 250...
Pros: comfortable, good range, pleasing sound Cons: cheap construction, bass distorts if volume turned up, not very portable, not noise canceling
I bought this set of headphones because I simply had no decent set to call my own and needed a set for my various portable electronics. I must admit the only comparison shopping I did was while I was at the store and the looks and apparent quality of...
I have purchased these after the head phones that came with my Sony discman began to kill my ears like other uncomfortable standard earphones that come with most portable CD players. After taking long flights and road trips, I decided to bring my discman...
Pros: good quality and comfort, long cord, nice design, amazingly cheap Cons: not for professional quality use
This is THE BEST deal I've ever found on headphones. I'm not a professional or anything, (I don't really buy whatever I can and test them out, so I suppose I can't exactly give you the most comprehensive review you'll find), but I definitely think that...
I have always enjoyed listening to music while I am studying for tests or while I am at the library doing homework. Before, I had always used the small headphones that sat in your ear. They gave good sound, but I was not always able to get the full...
Pros: Durable, great sound quality, comfortable Cons: A bit bulky
My Sony MDR-CD60 headphones constitute one of the best 20 dollars I've ever spent. It was almost a passing thought, I lucked into this great deal. I was getting ready for a long road trip and almost decided to just get a cheap pair of headphones. Then...
Pros: Great sound, Reasonable price Cons: Some may think $20 too much
If your looking for high quality sound, at a reasonable price, look to the MDR-CD60 by Sony. These headphones provide quality sound, yet they don't cost as much as many other headphones that have similar quality. In addition, these headphones are...
Pros: works good, cheap Cons: breaks up a little bit, when you play with the cord.
I have had a lot of sets of headphones big thick ones, small little earphones, and lots of other kinds. These i got for christmas and i have used them a lot, they have good sound and they bring out the sound of the music. They are a good set of...
Pros: cheap/comfortable Cons: you get what you pay for
I haven't had to buy a pair of headphones for a long time now, and these were my first pair in a while.
My eagerness to test these on my computer proved to be less than satisfying. At the very least, I was annoyed by the amount of distortion that...
Ok, to be perfectly honest, these aren't awesome headphones. They do a pretty good job of handling wide ranges of sound and producing clear sound without lots of static, but they're not as good as a 60$-80$ speaker set (This comparison to speakers has...
Every day I listen to music. Be it when i am DJ'ing, when I am traveling, or when doing housework. I have found these headphones to be a fairly good deal, but there is a problem. I usually DJ for 2-3 hours, and every day when I wore these headphones I...
Pros: Comfortable, blocks external noise, long cord, wont break Cons: larger than some types of headphones
When my roommate starts buggin, its time to don the headphones and listen to some tunes. However, this task used to be very clumsy and cumbersome due to the fact that i was restricted to a wee two-and-a-half foot cord. Id actually tilt my head to one...
For its $20 price range these headphones are pretty high quality. They're comfortable to wear, have a long cord that's very convenient, and offers pretty decent sound quality. However, despite the size of the pads, outside noise is not blocked out well...
Pros: Decent sound; the price is right Cons: Poor bass, don't block external sound, obtrusive, cheaply made.
This was one of the first sets of digital reference stereo headphones that I had. I remember walking through the store and seeing them, saying to myself "Geez, look at the size of those things! They must be a great set - and geez look at the...
First thing I noticed is the weight. How can you expect any quality out of such light headphones.
When I turn up the bass just a little bit it gets distorted. Those small headphones that come with the cheapest walkmans sound MUCH better because of...
Pros: Long Cord, Study, Inexpensive Cons: Not many.
Some of the true audiophiles in the room might not be in love with these perfect little headphones. They're opinion. These little guys, at 20 bucks, are better then 120 dollar headphones I own. They're sturdy. I've worn them on 6 car trips, train rides,...
Pros: Great sound quality, blocks out surrounding sound like people talking. Cons: A little bulky but not a problem
This head set is extremely comfortable around your ears for they have a cusion around the ear. It provides great sound quality and it helps reduce the noise that is occuring around you because it closes around your ears. Almost like you are listening...
Pros:quality fit & positioning to the ear Cons:sound sound sound!
When I first saw the MDR-CD60 on the shelf, I thought "Hey these look pretty high end!" and immediately got the impression that if they look serious they probably sound serious. I then saw the price, and I was sold. Unfortunately, I didn't have...
I have had these headphones for over a year now...But I have only used them a couple of times. I don't really like them because they of the sound quality. They don't really have a lot of bass...Which is what I like. I bought them because they were by...
Pros: Good price, light weight Cons: distort, bulky
These headphones are not too bad. The price is pretty reasonable and you get a nice quality sound. They are also very light which makes wearing them a much more comfortable expeirience. There are only a couple of draw backs to these headphones, they...
Pros: very inexpensive Cons: uncomfortable, bulky, poor fidelity
When I purchased these headphones I was looking for something inexpensive with descent sound quality. Since I would be using them exclusively at work, I wanted tolerable response from mp3 and wav files. On the other hand, I didn’t want to spend too...
Pros: stylish, comfortable to wear Cons: sound quality
I didn't buy this one. One of my friend got it. I never expected this pair of cans could match my cheaper Koss sporta pro, and sure they couldn't match Koss sporta pro. But reading reviews on this board gives me a feeling all cheaper sony phones got...
MDR-CD60 - Nice sound, good quality. by skack ,Mar 16 '07
Pros: Comfortable, good sound, quality construction. Cons: Too big to carry around.
The Sony MDR-CD60 headphones are a nice set of headphones at a good price. I have a pair that I keep at work for listening to streaming radio, MP3s, etc on my laptop. I have used them several hours a week for the last two to three years.
The sound quality is excellent. I have no complaints about their ability to create good sound with no distortion.
They are comfortable. They heat up your ears a little under extended use, but not as bad as other headphones that I have used. The cushioning seems good and the leather is soft.
The build quality seems good. I have put a lot of used on these headphones, but they still look and sound just like a new pair.
Overall, I'd rate these as a strong buy. I have no complaints with mine.
