Pros: great quality photos, great software Cons: none
My business is smocking dresses for flower girls, communion, and christenings. Many of the dresses are white embroidery on white fabric, so they do not show up well in regular pictures.
One day a website builder walked into my shop and showed me how...
Pros: Easy to use Cons: Heavy battery drain when LCD on, use rechargeables for best economy.
I purchased this camera from my small business supplier on his recommendation that it would be quick to set up and easy to use partly due to the excellent manual that accompanies this camera. The software went to work immediately after installation....

I was waiting for a digital camera that took great pictures,

I researched digital cameras on line extensively. I found that this little camera does a great job and it is so easy to use. The actual software is a little hard to get used to but since I have it is smooth sailing. The only thing about digital...
Pros: Quick time to to first shot; Good picture quality; small & light. Cons: USB transfer not very fast. No zoom. Only 1.3 megapixel.
O.k., here is the deal: I have two cameras, the $150 Umax Astracam 1800 (1.3MP), and the $500 Ricoh RDC-7 (3.2 MP). Both cameras are not mainstream, but cool if you taker a closer look. They are both small and give good pictures.
Pros: fun and easy Cons: not too easy to set up if you dont have the required setup
This is a fun camera to use. The best part is that you get instant gratification by viewing the pictures right after you have taken them. It is also great not to pay for film developing and you can email them to your friends.
Pros: cheap, simple, good software package Cons: fragile, unreliable
I originally bought this camera because of the price--after rebate, it was under $100.00. (The camera I received did not include the cradle or base in the picture on this site.) It was simple to learn how to use and produced pictures good enough...
Pros: Great Price, Average Picture Quality, Relatively small, USB Connectivity, 4MB Memory Cons: Extremely fragile. I had a DOA already. No Flash, sometimes blurry pictures.
UMAX has been around for a few years now, and are more well known for their scanners. If you own or have owned a UMAX product, you are one of two kinds of people; you like their products, or you hate them. There is no in between because of one simple...
Pros: Great all in one package for a starter digital camera. Cons: Needs Windows 98 at least and USB Ports.
I got this camera for Christmas and was finally the one that I decided that I wanted. This camera is that bad considering it has everything you need to get up and running. Be forewarned, your computer will need to run at least Windows 98 and have USB...
Pros: ease of use, software, weight Cons: picture quality
Upon receiving a gift certificate to an on line store, I chose the Umax Astracam 1000. This one did not come with the charger, voice recorder, etc. It DID come with batteries,USB cord, and incredible software. It's the perfect point and shoot digital...
I purchased this digital camera for $69.95 at an auction site. I chose this camera because it was so cheap. I knew it would not be the best quality camera, but I figured that it would be okay and that I could always "play around" with the...
Pros: Good colour, lowest price megapixel camera Cons: Unreliable, poor Quality Control, no zoom
I purchased this product at around USD130 in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Dec.2001. It seems that the QC wasn't performed at all by Umax. Some products have problems with its LCD display (segments cannot clearly displayed). I took one with best display...
