Only if you're cheap...

by taralee469 , May 18 '00
Pros: cheap
Cons: no zoom, no pre-view capabilities, medium-quality images
I really wanted a digital camera, mostly so I could upload pictures to my site as quickly as possible. But, I didn't have much money, and could really only afford something under $100, so I went with the Mustek VDC-3500. It is an extremely limited...

OK camera for the price

by michaelw , Apr 27 '00
Pros: Low cost, easy to use, good software
Cons: no picture preview, uncommon memory
I bought this camera for the price - under $100.00; this is another example of you get what you pay for.

What do I like about the camera -
1) Its easy to use, point and click.
2) It has a built in flash, and knows when to use...

Not too bad for the price

by jasonw754 , Jan 03 '00
Pros: Very Cheap, Useful, Removable Flash cards, PC Link.
Cons: Not the best image quality
Those of you who frequent auction sites may have seen this Mustek VDC-3500 digital camera for suspiciously low prices. Although you would think that a digital camera that doesn't cost $400 isn't any good, I have been pleased with the performance of this...

Relysis Dimera 3500

by hha , Nov 15 '00
Pros: good price performance ratio, small and light
Cons: No flexibility and limited to 640 x 480
The Relysis Dimera 3500 (alias Mustek VDC-3500) is is a very simple 640 x 480 point and shoot camera with a reasonably accurate bright line optical viewfinder. I bought it for $60 (tax included) new in the box at the LA county computer show (November 5,...

No Frills, Bottom of the Barrel Camera But Really Cheap

by therichpeasant , Mar 26 '04
Pros: Cheap, reliable, AC Adapter saves battery usage
Cons: Non-standard memory cards used, inconsistent flash, no LCD viewer
I bought this camera at the beginning of 2003 as a refurbished product. I was starting to sell stuff on eBay and needed the cheapest camera on the market. At US$25.00, I couldn't ask for anything cheaper. I'm still using it, as my eBay sales volumes ...

Use Only As Directed

by DuchS777 , Nov 24 '00
Pros: cheap, easy to use
Cons: pictures are iffy at best, not high-tech
My husband and I bought this camera at a ubid auction because it was cheap and he needed a digital camera for class. We paid 89 dollars for it.

Thus far, it's been OK. Once we figured out the best light and distance to use it at, most of our...

Digital on a Shoestring Budget

by wwtom , Jun 19 '01
Pros: Good quick snap camera for Under $100
Cons: Non-Standard Memory, Serial Interface
Have had this Camera for around a year now, and am still pleased with it's performance considering the price. I originally paid $70 or so plus shipping on Ebay, but it can now be found well under $50. Useful only in 640x480(Fine) Mode, the Normal 320x240...

Not bad if you get it cheap

by bwbarth , May 16 '00
Pros: Cool LCD, fair picture quality, TWAIN interface
Cons: Buy a battery factory to keep up, a little large
I originally purchased three of these for family and friends and paid about $80 /each for them new. They arrived and they all worked as specified. It is moderately easy for a beginner to use, as it is compatible with TWAIN. The gotcha on this great...

Does it's job for a cheap price

by Guineveve , Jul 27 '00
Pros: Cheap, sleek looking, easy to use
Cons: Cheap, quality isn't that great, short battery life
I had bought this camera because I needed to get all my artwork into graphics files and this was the easiest way to go about it. I set out for the best cheap camera I could find. As a result: The Mustek VCD 3500. It's sleek looking and extremely light...

Nice for the price.

by robcrowell , Mar 31 '01
Pros: Inexpensive, built in flash, easy to set up
Cons: Picture quality could be better
The Mustek 3500 digital camera is a decent camera for the price. I have had mine for a little over one year and have taken tons of pictures with it. I find you can get a sharper image if you shrink it by about 10%.

The camera is of very good...
