Pros: excellent pictures for a 640 Cons: no zoom or extra features
This is a fantastic camera as long as you don't need the extra features like zoom. This camera is extremely easy to use and takes sharp in-focus pictures, even of moving objects. The price is only $149.
I recommend a Flash Path sandisk for...

Pros: price, versatility Cons: lack of resolution in enlargements
As a first digital camera, I feel that the Polaroid Photomax 640 with ImageMaker software is tops. At under $200(at Wal-Mart), it has all the features that a novice could want. It features a wide range of resolution options, allowing from 12 to 96...

I was looking for a digital camera for quite some time. I wanted one that was easy to carry and care for, would fit compactly into my brief bag, and would be priced properly to make it worth my while to use and send digital images over the internet....

Pros: nice pictures for an affordable price Cons: have trouble with the PC cable making good contact
I purchased the Polaroid pdc 640 on February 25,2000. I was looking to get the most pixels at the lowest cost. I found this camera at our new wal mart. The price was great (179.00) and the pixels were in the middle range where you are able to print a...

Pros: easy to use, review/preview options, easy to download Cons: drains batteries, pictures can get "lost" on the hard drive using the software that came with
My husband bought me this camera for my birthday. It was actually a substitution for a lower quality that was out of stock. The pictures that I have taken with it are very nice, even at the lowest resolutions. One of the things that I like best is the...

Pros: Very Easy to Use. Cons: So-so software, low resolution
We originally bought the Polaroid PDC 640 for work. We already had a Ricoh RDC 4200 and needed another camera. While it has a resolution of only 640x480, compared to the Ricoh's megapixel resolution, it quickly became the office favorite. We liked the...

Pros: The only negative side to this camera that I see, is that it has no zoom capability. Cons: Excellent for sending pictures of the family to other family members around the country. And it enables you to do so in a matter of minutes, from the time you snap your picture to the time you email it out.
This is and excellent digital camera for the digital camera beginner. This is my first digital camera, which I bought for work. It enables me to take clear picture of Machine Parts that I need to order but have no part number. I snap the shot, if I...

We purchased the Polaroid PDC digital camera several years ago and have had nothing but problems with it. Immediately we noticed that you no more than get started taking photos when the display would go dead. Upon investigation it was determined that ...

Pros: easy to use, low cost Cons: resolution only goes up to 640x480, only handles 8mg smartmedia cards
Looking for a low cost digital camera was a much more difficult process than I was prepared for. You either spend under $100 to purchase a camera that doesn't have the ability to change out memory disks saving only 50-60 photos, or you have to spend...

Pros: light, easy to use, inexpensive, Cons: goes thru batteries like crazy, battery door is weak
This is a really great camera for the money. It takes really good pictures for most things, their not Olan Mills, but it is great for those "just look at this" kind of things, for emailing etc. The quality of the pictures is rather limited to the...
