Pros: user friendly Cons: low resolution
I recently bought this camera for documentation purposes. It does what I
had expected and more. I took the camera outside and it takes great landscape and portrait pictures. The best feature apart from other digital cameras, is that you can remove...

Pros: Takes excellent pictures and uses a disk rather than cables. Cons: Has poor quality in low light situations.
I purchased my Mavica MVC-FD-73 in October of 1999. I have never enjoyed a camera any more than I have this one. I am the Administrative Assistant for a realtor. He was skeptical of using my camera for photos of houses he had listed until we both took...

Pros: takes floppy disc and is easy to use. Cons: I couldn't find anything I didn't like about this camera
I bought this camera because it is really easy to use, I tried another one and it was expensive to get an extra chip for and this one all you have to do is put a 3 1/2 floppy in and take your pictures, then take it out and put in your computer, even a...

Pros: Memory, price, battery charge life. Cons: None
I purchased this camera because it was reasonably priced, and it has limitless memory. You can pack lots of disks in a bag.
My sister bought one, and sent me pictures from it. They were fantastic. I looked for the same model, purchased it...

Pros: Ease of Use, Quality Cons: Viewfinder a problem in intense sunlight.
I am employed with the State of California as an Information Systems Analyst. Three years ago we purchased a mini-camera to be used by our
staff engineers who have the responsibility to oversea the repair or
replacement of leaking underground...

Pros: this is a very user friendly camera. Cons: I really don't see any reason for a con on this product
We have just bought a Sony digital Mavica quick access fd drive 2x. We originally bought it to help us with our contracting business. We are going to have to E-mail photos of the properties to the main office in another state. The photos of the...

Pros: use of floppy disk over memory cards Cons: it could have had a little better resolution
This is a great all around camera. I use mine mainly for online auctions, but I also use it for personal pictures. Its ease of use is fantastic. While it does not have the greatest resolution, I have seen worse though. I like the use of 3-1/2 inch floppy...

Pros: Great portable, easy to use Cons: none
I take a lot of picture. Tons of them. I used to spend a lot of time scanning the photos into my computer for either web page use or to send to other people by email. I first saw the Sony MVC-FD73 when one of my friends got one. She took some...

Pros: ease of use Cons: not always portrait quality (but close)
I have owned a Sony Mavica Model FD-73 for about 6 weeks.I have found it very easy to use , and the pictures are very suitable for my needs. The ease of getting pictures from the camera to a PC is one reason that I purchased the FD-73..The 3.5.inch...

Pros: Easy to use Cons: Initial Cost
Since I like to send to cards to people, I was looking for a digital camera that was easy to use, easy to understand and cost efficient. This camera has all of those features and works exceptionally well on all computer equipment because it records it's...

Pros: Price is coming down. Cons: A little pricey right now.
I absolutely love this camera! Buying the Sony Digital Mavica was the smartest decision I have made all year. I shopped around at first and even bought a different, less expensive digital camera at first. After a month of trying to figure the darn thing...

Pros: Ease of use, special features Cons: fair price but i hope they go down some
First I must admit that this is the only digital camera that we have used, but that also speaks well of the camera in that it has been very easy for us to learn to use. Even my computer illiterate husband has been taking pictures and printing them out...

Pros: Cheap recording media - 3.5" floppy disks Cons: Mediocre picture quality
Sony usually provides a superior product at a reasonable (not inexpensive price). But they dropped the ball on this one. If you are a photo buff, look elsewhere for you won't find the quality in your images, there are better cameras at cheaper prices....

Pros: Uses a disk, no printer cable needed Cons: None
This is the easiest camera I have ever used. I waited until digital cameras came down in price, and this camera is well worth the money. Sony has outdone themselves this time. All you do is power up the camera, load the disk and shoot pictures. You...
