Though the camera was...

Pros: Ease of use, 10x optical zoom Cons: Picture quality, picture quality
We have an FD-73 at work and we use it primarily for taking pictures of computer parts when customers want to see what a part looks like. After taking the pictures we usually e-mail them.
For that purpose the camera works fine, the close-up...

Pros: Macro lens, Zoom lens, Floppy Disk Cons: Viewfinder, Hard to hold still
I have owned my Sony Mavica FD73 since November 99 and in general I am satisfied with it for what I intended to use it for. I bought it for the main purpose of taking pictures for online auctions. I had also hoped though to be able to use it for a...

Pros: 10X optical zoom, cheap memory. Cons: Not good for very low light levels
I purchased the FD-73 after looking around for several weeks. I selected this model for four reasons.
1. Priced under $450.
2. Cheap "memory cards" - 3-1/2" floppy disks that cost 13 to 35 cents each.
3. 10X optical zoom....

Pros: Easy to Use Cons: Sometimes it's too bright outside and I can't see the picture on the screen very well.
My son convinced me to purchase this camera in case we were to sell some items on E-bay so $460 later I am the proud owner of the Sony Digital Mavica. My son showed me how to use it and now I don't leave home without it. I've never liked cameras...

In August we purchased this camera from Sears and since then it has become my husband's camera. He never really took interest in actually taking pictures with any of our cameras, but this is his. We had looked around at quite a few and for the price...

Pros: Features, ease of use and computer interface method Cons: Poorly written instruction manual
The Sony MVC FD-73 is an excellent camera. I don't have a lot of experience with digital cameras, but I did a lot of reviewing and comparison shopping before I bought mine. Most everything is automatic. It's a simple matter to take photo's and look at...

Pros: disk size, ease of use, longevity Cons: resolution
The Sony MVC-FD73 is extremely easy to use. Since the 3 1/2 inch discs are the same size that you have around for your computer anyway, once the disc is filled up, you just take it out of the camera and insert it into the computer. With the play back...
