I have a Lanzar Vibe230 amp. This amplifier is pretty good for the price. At 100x2RMS and 350x1RMS, these amps work well with components or low-mid power subs. They have high and low pass crossovers that are sufficient for good audio reproduction....
Pros: nothing bad to say about it Cons: vertically positioned wire connections
I spent about a year trying to find a good quality amp that was affordable as well. After 3 previous brands I've settled on the Lanzar Vibe line of amps. I've had the 230 for over a year now and have been very satisfied. It's an affordable amp that...
Pros: Cheap and loud for the price Cons: Tacky looking, Kind of chintzy.
I purchased this amp on ebay for $47 shipped. I had read the review on here and was expecting junk. However, upon receiving this amp I was pleasantly surprised.
First of all, this is only the second amp I have owned for mobile audio. The first one was some P.O.S. Wal Mart off brand amp. It was a 5 channel 1000watt amp. I only ran 1 channel to 2 subs at 2 ohms but this killed the wal mart amp, so, I bought this.
Upon hooking it up, I turned the gains down and turned everything up very slowly, adjusting as I went, the whole nine yards. After playing with it for about 2 hours, I finally decided to go for a cruise. Rolling through town, I was able to get people with their windows completely rolled up in their SUVs to glare.
I like this amp, and if you can find one as cheap as I did, it is worth it. Otherwise, if it is going to be more expensive, save your money for something else.
