Pros: Well built, good sound, and low cost. Cons: Entry level line of speakers.
I love Boston Acoustics speakers. I have their speakers in my car, my girlfriend's car, and in my house. No matter which line of speakers you look at and compare them to similarly priced competitors they sound better and last longer. While I personally...

Pros: Good Sound Cons: None
This speaker unlike others has handled what I have given it. Most car speakers I have had had unfortunately fallen out of their holdings or blown themselves out of service. I have gone through many and have paid many a dear dollar until I came to this...

Pros: Phenominal sound quality Cons: For the best sound you need an amplifier
Boston Acoustic pro series speakers are known by many to have a superior sound quality. Over the years countless people have gotten into my car, listened to my speakers, and no sooner than it could taken them to install a pair they have them in their...

Pros: Great sound, affordable Cons: Don't fit in some cars without customization.
I just purchased a pair of Boston Acoustics CX6 Coaxial 6 and 1/2 inch speakers for my 1991 Eagle Talon. These are definitely the best speakers I've seen for the price. After comparing them to various other brands (Alpine, Pioneer, Kenwood, etc.), they...

Pros: verrrry clean, powerful, solid construction Cons: need lots of power, tweeter may be too tinny for some
If you want to get these for $300, wait until the beginning of summer, when the new models start to come out, hifi buys with discount them. I've fallen in love with these beauties ever since the moment that I first put them in my car. I have given them...

Pros: Amazing Sound Cons: High Price
I've got a set of the new 3 way Bostons in the front door of my 93 Honda Accord 4 door with a pair of 6 1/2's in the back. They sound absolutely amazing, but the price I paid blew me away. You've got to want a competition quality sound in your car if...

Pros: Outstanding Speakers Cons: PriceTag
Let me say one thing about Boston Acoustic speakers...They're Awesome!
There are very few brands of speakers that actually get my respect and Boston's are one of the few that do! They are very clear and accurate to a T. Very few speakers can achieve...

Pros: great sound quality, especially when hooked up to an amp Cons: price and availability
In all honesty, I'm not sure you can find a better 6.5 inch speaker on the market today. I have installed them in my 92 eagle talon, and they bump! they have lasted almost 4 years now, without any decrease in sound quality. The crossover that were...

Pros: Sound Quality, Sound Quality, Sound Quality. Cons: Price.
This is the second set of BA Pro's I have owned. I let the first set go with a vehicle when I sold it. (I will not make that mistake again.)
I wanted a set of speakers I could turn up loud enough to make your ears bleed. But I wanted the sound...

Pros: Great sound Cons: Need amplification
After months of going around listening to speakers, these were definately the best value for money possible. I listened to sony, kenwood, panasonic, jbl, philips, clarion, jvc and these were by far the best. The reason why I enjoy these spilts so much is...

Pros: Power, Power, Power, Clarity, Realism, did I mention power Cons: Don't forget the power. I'd say 150WPC minimum or don't bother.
I purchased these new 4 years ago. In the first system I had them in, they were running bi-amped & time aligned with active crossovers off a soundstream lil wonder amp. They had phenominal mid-range clarity, but I always found the highs ...

Do you like eharing boom boom boom? If you like those songs with alot of bass, if you like like to skae you car, then i would have to say this sub woofer is for you. This is one of these toys for a teen, or someone in there early to late twenties. I am...

Pros: Color Cons: Everything Else!
These really aren't very good speakers at all. I wouldn't recommend you waste your money on these. I bought a pair for my car and they just suck! They are cool looking though. That's about the only plus.
The salesman did a great job of...

6.5^3's are great
by ninaudio ,Feb 22 '04
Pros: Awesome sound, 3 way set up provides ideal imaging. Cons: Pricing might be considered a little bit steep, but are worth it
Great product, would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. I've been using these for 3 years now and they are running strong. I took home a Sound Quality award with these speakers in my car at my very first sound quality competition. I had the midrange and tweeters placed in the corners of the dash and the mid-bass in the door. It kept the soundstage nice and high. Very clear highs and lows. The 6.5 mid-bass speaker should really be placed in it's own small enclosure for it to really shine and give great mid-bass attack.
