I have the Polk EX series 5 1/4 inch component system in my car and I think that they are very nice sounding speakers. They are not too expensive and for the price I don't think they can be beat.
Pros: Great lows and midrange! Cons: Tweeters a bit harsh, woofer cones are susceptable to cracking
After visiting a few shops in the area to test different brands of speakers, I finally settled on these. To replace my infinity reference series that I forgot to remove after totaling the car.
