barf, barf, ugh!!! whatever you do don't buy an aiwa!

Pros: good clear sound
Cons: every thing but the sound quality
oh my gosh this is the worst Car Stereo ever! i paid $169 + $40 installation for that piece. It will absolutely not play any Cd-Rs at all. This thing will not play cd's with even 1 little scratch on the cd. It would skip if my door shut just a little...

Exceeded my expectations

Pros: front panel auxiliary input, nifty features, works with my CD-R's, doesn't skip, anti-theft, removable face
Cons: can't select radio or CD while mini-plug is connected to auxiliary input
I purchased a refurbished Aiwa CDCX146M indash CD player solely for its front panel auxiliary input. I wanted to connect a portable mp3 cd player. My expectations were very low because of negative Aiwa reviews, but I’ve been very pleasantly surprised....
