Pros: Excellent sound, easy to remove if you need the space, good price/value Cons: Doesn't include remote control
So you have an okay head unit and just put in new speakers, but you still want some bass? Or does your factory system need some help in the lower range? This is what you need. I've had my Bazooka tube about 6 months now and I don't think I would be ...
Pros: Great bass quality - perfect upgrade to factory systems - GREAT PRICE - Definately made for the music lover on a budget who enjoys quality sound. Cons: The only con I can see is if you own a large car such as a Cadillac because the bazooka is made for smaller to midsize cars.
Having a small Chrysler LeBaron and in need of my trunk space I was in a quandry of what I could purchase to make the sound in my car the way I wanted it. I already had a 12 disc JVC X200RF (see my review on this on item at
Pros: Very easy installation and sound frequencies can be catered to your needs. Cons: Needs to be strapped down to mount.
I've included this little puppy in my car Pioneer audio video system which adds that little "umph" to the beat. Since I have a very small and limited cargo area (back of a Vehicross) I needed something that will not occupy too much room and won't be too...
Pros: small package, clarity Cons: they roll around and must be strapped in
I've had two 4 ohm 8" passive bazooka tubes in my truck for the past seven years. As best I can determine from the website (http://www.sasbazooka.com/), the EL8-hp is the model equivalent to what I have.
Pros: PRICE!! Easy installation, small, sounds great with stock or nearly stock stereo Cons: Not your sub if you're looking for something to blur your vision with power
I bought this sub to put in my wife's Suzuki Grand Vitara on a totally stock stereo system. In that vehicle it was exceptionally easy to install. I had already put in the wiring to tie into the speakers in the rear of the vehicle, and there is a ...
Pros: Well built, clear sounding tube with it's own amplifier Cons: Rolls around in the trunk.
I purchased this tube for three reasons, price, brand name reputation, and easy use.
I purchased this tube on line for around $120.00 after shopping around. I found it difficult to find Bazooka tubes at chain stores, and the stereo places...
Pros: Ease of installation, Price, Size Cons: Shape makes for difficult placement
I just bought the Bazooka EL8AHP. I Installed it last night and I am very pleased with the performance.
Before I bought this product, I was reading all of the opinions on epinion.com and was a little concerned, as it seemed a lot of people were...
Pros: Easy installation Cons: Expensive, low output. You'll be soon discouraged when you hear a real system.
Why do people buy bass tubes? It completely astonishes me that someone would spend about $300 on an 8" bass tube. For $300 you could get a decent amp, and a decent pair of 10" subs, installed!!! Forget about all ...
Pros: mad bass Cons: not mad enough to stop the great hurricane typoon monsoon tidal wave tsunami wave almost 1100 miles high wave that was 'a comin' towards BAJA!
This bass tube has nothing in comparison to my 1982 Chevrolet S10 AUDIO SOUND SHOW TRUCK...bass is all the rage! Subwoofers are the "in" thing
But this bass tube can't even come close to touching the 13,000 watt, 16...
Nice Addition to a Good Stock System by danmac69 ,Oct 06 '03
Pros: Economical, easy installation, good sound. Cons: Requires constant bass control tweeking from song to song.
I installed this in my 1997 Cadillac Seville with a stock Bose system and a JVC 12 disc changer. It sounds great and it really compliments the stock system. It has enough "thumping power" to impress my 12 year old daughter.
I did the installation myself and it was a snap. The worse part was running the power cable from the battery and even that was relatively easy. Total installation time was about 2 hours, not bad for a rookie.
The only negative comment I have is that I find myself having to adjust the bass control from song to song. Sometimes its too overbearing and other times its non-existent. Now, I've never had a sub before so this might be normal. Overall I would rate this product as an excellent addition for someone just looking to add a little thump to their music while trying to NOT wake the neighbors.
I was surprised as to the amount of bass this little tube puts out. I picked mine up from Circuit City for $99 and installed it in no time. I used the low level inputs(rca jacks)and it sounds great. I didn't think it would be enough for my 4-door Ford Explorer, but placed it in the back corner and it thumps. You can easily tune the sub with the built in gain and crossover dial. Worth every dollar spent.
