These speakers are fine if you are not interested in great sound. Compared to the speakers that Bose built their reputation on, these fall short.

The highs are just not there compared to other speakers in the price range. The midrange is passable, but not outstanding, and there is not enough bass.

For use as rear surrounds, they do a passable job. They do give a clear sound image. As main speakers, you should look elsewhere. These just don't have the punch needed, even for a small sized room.
