Pros: Very good, flat sound, very accurate imaging, excellent powerful bass. Cons: Perfectly acceptable for general music listening, but home theater where it really shines.
Sounds good with music, but not the perfect choice; these speakers were clearly made for home theater which is where they really shine. The response is so flat, and imaging so good, you forget where the speakers are in a dark room.

I have had this set of speakers for over seven years now and love the hell out of them. Them are driven by an Onkyo surrond receiver that has 90 watts rms to all five speakers and they take all 90 watts with no problem. The subwoffer that comes with the system hits really hard. I love the depth charges in the movie U571, the submarine movie. I recommend the in any low priced 5k audio video system. I made my own speaker stnds for the satillites, e-mail me for pics.
