Pros: LOL! Cons: Ahhh!!!! The VCS 10!!!, It's Bose!
I think that I have made it clear that Bose is by far the worst brand ever. As you know, I have already tested out the Bose VCS 10 center. Well, the Bose VCS 30 consists of the VCS 10 and two Model 100 speakers. I think this is supposed to be an...
Pros: slim Cons: the power, built and sound is not quite pleasing.
Don't get me wrong I have nothing against BOSE, in fact I own BOSE products, its just I can't recommend this V C S 30 speaker system. I have an existing BOSE AM5 series 3 and upgraded it with V C S 30. The AM5 is good but the V C S 30 is not so good,...
Pros: Surprised by the great sound! I thought it would be a step down. Surprise! Cons: The 100's are a bit ugly and bulky, and lots of plastic!
When I originally purchased the system, I had "thrify" written all over my wallet! You see, I didn't want to spend to much on my center/rear speakers, but I did want quality sound. (Sounds like a serious problem doesn't it?)
This product is an excellent choice if you already have a satisfying stereo system. It is exactly as described by Bose on their web page. When properly balanced it provides excellent vocal reproduction and accurate musical fill. It specifically does not...
Pros: Slim, Excellent sounds and no Distortion.... Cons: Price is a little bit too much but then again your buying an excellent one.
I am a Bose fan and I got this VCS 30 to add along with my 501 Bose speakers so I can get good surround speakers along with a great center channel speaker and to tell you the truth I'm very much pleased with this equipment, it adds more life like sounds...
Pros: Great Full and Rich Sound Cons: Mounting requires to many holes in wall
I have never been seriously interested in any BOSE products
until I started reading all the negative comments about them.
That alone sparked an interest, and I wanted to find out
why some consumers had such strong negative views on these...
Pros: respectable sound. Cons: not Hi fidelity by a long shot.
I own an acoustimass 15 and bought this set to improve upon the sound. It simply didn't do a great deal of improvement. I even called Bose Tech support to be sure I connected everything properly. Don't get me wrong, the system sounded good, but, I wanted it to sound GREAT. I ended up giving all my Bose Products to my dad (who loves them incidently) and got Polk Audio. I finally got the sound I wanted..but to be fair, It cost me 3X what I paid for the Bose. If you are happy with the Bose sound, then you should get these speakers. If you are not sure..then avoid them...they are simply more of the same.
Awesome! Like everything else Bose... by miamiajp_dt3000 ,Apr 18 '02
Awesome! Like everything else Bose makes. After enjoying the system for several months I discovered to my horror that carpenter ants had nested inside the center speaker. After much shaking and banging it, I finally put the speaker in plastic bag and left it inside my freezer overnight. This did the trick, It killed the ants, but I also was expecting to have to buy a new speaker. To my surprise the speaker worked like on the first day, when I connected it again. (Maybe I should sell this to Bose for a comercial...) LOL But it is true!
