Pros: excellent value/picture/sound, easy to use, good manual
Cons: no gee-whizz features
Summary: I've always wanted a DVD but was put off by the price and the fact it meant having to reinvest in a DVD film library alongside my substantial video library. It does take a lot of determination to buy the same film twice and at greater cost!

Pros: allows you to sit at your computer, and never leave.
Cons: not as good as watching tv.
