Great Starter System

by backlund , Mar 21 '00
Pros: Many video outputs, easy use, great price
Cons: No dolby digital decoding, older model and harder to find now!
The DV-414 I purchased, was originally just a purchase to watch my VCD's I was creating because it could play and read CD-R discs, and watch DVD's on the side. Well, VCD's have left my life after I really got the DVD experience. The DV-414 is an...

My First DVD Player

by mrconsumer , Jan 26 '00
Pros: Great Format, Great Entry Level or General Use Item
Cons: None, unless you desire higher end features
It's not often that a store that sells high end audio/video products, recommends that you hold off on buying something that they sell. Such was the case when I went to buy a DVD player. Their suggestion was to hold off for the next generation. Well...
