Bose Lifestyle 30 Theater System

Pros: Jewel Cube speakers look & sound great, and the system is very easy to operate.
Cons: This system has NO volume indicator.

I am quite happy with my Lifestyle 30. It is very compact, and the sound is awesome, especially for its size. Also, this system is very user friendly.

There is one thing I don't like and would change instantly if I could. I absolutely HATE the fact that this system has NO volume indicator. I can never tell the volume level until I turn it on and get the "surprise" volume. After watching a DVD, I may switch to CD mode, and the "surprise" volume is so loud that I think the entire city can hear the music. Not good. This is the only flaw to the Lifestyle 30. I visited the Bose store recently, and the newer Bose Lifestyle System has a volume indicator! Thank you, Bose! When I'm finished with my Lifestyle 30, and if I'm not deaf from the various volume surprises, I may enjoy upgrading.
