The best consumer model available

Pros: Brilliant Picture, Stops on a dime, super fast rewind, awesome remote
Cons: hard to find, need the manual to figure it out

mitsu VCR S-VHS HS-U795

Pros: picture quality, freeze frame and slow motion effects were superb,
Cons: none worth mentioning
This is one very fine machine. Recording at SP-ET mode was superb. Virtually the same as a recording I made on a brand new FUJI S-VHS tape. I have made recordings from digital cable and,in short, the recording looks like the original.
