Pros: None Cons: Overpriced, Bad reception, Curt Reps
We just recently moved and after all was said and done we had ourselves a new cable company. We went from Media One to Adelphia cable and right from the start I knew there would be problems. I wish I was wrong but I wasn't.
We called...

Pros: picture/sound quality Cons: flaky equipment performance
I currently attend school in Burlington, VT. Being in Vermont, I don't get much choice when it comes to many things. Since I live in a dorm, a satellite dish would have been a pain and a lot of trouble so I went with Adelphia's new digital cable service....

Pros: good basic service Cons: wish it included TV Land and The Cooking Channel !
We have too many televisions in our household to get a satelite dish or digital service, so we are behind the times with good old-fashioned cable.
I haven't had much of a problem with Adelphia in my area. Alot of good channles are included in...

Pros: Good Channel Selection Cons: Overpriced, Bad Pay Per View
We recently moved from an area served by Time Warner Cable. While I wasn't always pleased with Warner, it offered a good selection of channels on the Basic service for a nice low price, and it was reliable. When we moved, our cable company - the only...

Pros: It's available Cons: Poor pay per view, poor customer service, billing problems, frequent disruptions in service, lousy channel choices
Okay...sometimes there are no good choices. I thought that when they deregulated cable TV around here, we might have the option of choosing a new cable company. Not so. We are still stuck with Adelphia.
I don't have their digital cable...

Pros: It's cable! Cons: Basically the only cable service in town
I have to be honest in my opinion about Adelphia Cable Co. This company used to be Century Communications here where we live before Adelphia took over and boy has the service not changed. I still get the same lousy service i got before. They have managed...

Pros: Fast Repair (Sometimes) Cons: Price, Unreliable Service
I have subscribed to Adelphia's Cable TV and Power Link (Cable Modem) service in the Buffalo, NY area for approximately two years. The Cable TV service is OK, however the picture quality is not best I have ever seen. I recently switched my TV service...

Pros: Better than nothing Cons: Whole lot of nothing
Recently our local cable company was taken over by Adelphia communications. While they came in with promises of more channels, better service, and fiber optic technology, the improvement to the viewing population has been limited, if not non-existant....

Pros: None Cons: Expensive, Poor Quality, Poor Service
Several months ago Cablevision was bought out by Adelphia in our area. We thought Cablevision was bad well nothing prepared us for Adelphia.
We have lived in various parts of the country and have never paid so much for cable which has been so...

Pros: Added Disney Channel for free, Digital Cable coming in mid 2001. Cons: Too many to list.
About 5 years ago, our old cable company Small Cities Cable provided decent service for a decent price. When Adelphia came...things started to change.
Adelphia mantains a "momopoly" here in my area and when they took over, rates increased...

Pros: Occasional free pre-paid long distance phone cards Cons: Poor customer service, long waits for service calls and high prices
Adelphia Cable is truly not making the grade. As a customer for the past three years I have only observed changes that are far from positive. The unfortunate aspect of it all is I am forced to use their services if I wish to have cable television. I...

Pros: 3 out of 30 new channels added that I like Cons: Everything else - service, snowy screen, price, monopoly...
The tv is snowy again. I call my new next door neighbors and ask if their tvs (if they have one) are snowy and not clear also. I get 2 different responses: 1) Do you have cable?? 2) Yes, my tv is snowy as well although you could make out some sort of...
