Pros: Decent programming selections. Cons: Outages, and customer service.
I initally was excited when my apartment complex switched our cable provider to Charter Communications, the largest cable company in St. Louis. I imagined the great programming selections, and digital cable coming into my home.
I receieved...

Pros: Cable Modem is nice Cons: Cable Television is not nice
I've had many different versions of Charter's cable television service over the past two years, and I just recently purchased their Cable Modem service. For someone that watches some tv, but not a whole lot, you can get a fairly decent deal from...

Pros: Well...the picture IS clear. Cons: Outrageously expensive for what they 'give' you, and some company policies are offensive.
I recently moved into my apartment, and for two huge reasons, I needed to get cable TV. One reason being a chronic addiction to General Hospital, which MUST be taped every day; and two, not being the social butterfly in the Miami Faaaaaaaaabulous Club...

Pros: None Cons: Everything - Danger/Beware
Well let's just say I wasn't surprised to see how many others felt the same way I did about Charter but I was surprised by how many people experienced they same problem as I did and the cost differentials posted by everyone.
I moved to a...

Pros: Promise good deals Cons: Poor Customer Service (Worst I've Ever Seen), Poor Quality Reception (Former Residence), Good deals are fraud,
First of all at my former residence we had charter cable and the reception was very bad so I hesitated dealing with them...well until they announced on television about their Charter Pipeline Internet Service promising great speed at 19.95 per month...I...

Pros: good reception, few outages Cons: only game in town and using that, iffy customer service, dishonest with On Time guarantee
Where we live, we have two choices: 2 channels of reception using rabbit ears, or Charter Cable. I suppose we could install a satellite, but our landlord would be a bit ticked off, no doubt.
I don't want a lot of whistles and bells in my...

Pros: nothing Cons: Everything.....bad customer service....price keeps going up
We've been using Charter cable for about 3 years now but only because that's the only service in our area. We have been thinking of getting a satellite dish however since our cable bill seems to increase every other month. It's almost $50 per month now...

Pros: none Cons: different name, same service; the name has been changed to protect the innocent

Pros: Everything Cons: Pricey, But Worth It
Charter is a great cable company if you like all you can get. They provide 61 channels, 3 HBO's, 4 Showtimes, an independent film channel, and 7 pay-per-views (also SPICE). It holds just about every channel that a family could need. They also provide...

Pros: none Cons: high prices, less channels than competitors, telephone reps aren't courteous
As an off campus student at UConn, my only option for cable television is to subscribe to Charter Communications. Unfortunately, that choice is less than satisfactory. My roommate and I subscribe to the best package Charter offers (which costs us about...

Pros: it's better than nothing Cons: selection, customer service, quality
I have had Charter Cable service for a year and a half now and can tell you that the only reason I have not switched providers is because I can't. Charter's customer support is terrible. There signal is the worst I have seen. There are two channels...

Pros: There's no other choice so you'd better like it Cons: Cost is high
Since I first had cable TV in 1992 (yes, I existed on Network TV until that point) my cable company was purchased (or changed its name - sometimes I'm not sure) by another company three times. Each time the service has gone downhill and the price has...

Pros: none Cons: rude installers, false advertising, pricing inaccuracies, poor customer service
I contacted Charter Communications inquiring about setting up new cable TV service on Sunday, 8/4. I was told that I could get their Digital Complete package for $42.95; I was also told that I would get a $12.95 credit/month for a one-year period...

Pros: none!!! Cons: cable goes out often, never received new channels they promised, expensive
I have had Charter Communications cable service for about three years and it is the worst service that I have ever seen. My cable service goes out at least once a week every week and has done that for the last two years. Sometimes it is just for a...
