Pros: none Cons: everything
If you own a Macintosh and want to connect to Comcast cable for my service provider. I suggest you NEVER decided to use their services. First of all I was on tech support from 4pm-1am because the man who was suppose to install it took off without even...

Pros: "Comcast" has less letters than "Montgomery Cable TV." Cons: Atrocious service; grainy images; escalating rates; and unexplained outages.
When Montgomery Cable TV provided the service for the County, one could look forward to poor customer service, ever-escalating rates, grainy images, and outages whenever it rained or an inebriated starling chanced to fly over. Now that Comcast has the...

Pros: Good Quality Cons: none
In Richmond, Virginia Comcast Cable is great! We get about 66 regular channels and they are always quality picture and sound. The service is always up and running so that if we loose power we can see what's happening around the state. The service is...

Pros: available Cons: expensive
I currently have Comcast cable and I am very dissatisfied with the quality , selection, and price. So get Satellite, you may say. This is the catch for me. In Sacramento where I live satellite is much cheaper than cable. So how does Comcast charge...

Pros: So far, all three services - Cable, Internet and Phone - are working fine. Cons: Little to no instructions or directions in what to expect when first ordering Comcast services.
Around the time that Time Warner contracts went to Comcast, my husband and I decided to go without cable for awhile to save some money and wean our children from constant television watching. Those bunny ears on the tops of our t.v.'s were not as bad as ...

Pros: Excellent customer service, quick troubleshooting response, great cable. Cons: DVR doesn't handle live TV well; Clark Howard doesn't like them.
Presently I live in an area that doesn't offer Comcast, which is sad to be sure. I was very happy with Comcast and was a subscriber for six years in Atlanta. I seldom had connection problems, I believe only twice during our service arrangement. When I ...

Pros: cable signal is fine, internet connection works Cons: Incompetence appears to be a prerequisite for employment at Comcast
Comcast gave me by far the worst customer service I've ever had. When I got the cable and internet installed, of course the tech was 1 1/2 hours later than the 3 hour window. He then spent an 1 hour and a half "installing" the services, of which a 1/2 ...

Pros: None, stick with AT&T, Verizon or anything else Cons: Disconnected my internet service without notice, double charged credit card, poor quality digital cable TV
I moved my cable and internet from one apartment to another. My next bill showed that they double billed me - one month for the new apartment and another extra month for the old apartment. I did call them and they said they would give me a credit next ...

Pros: None Cons: Rise in prices
Cable signal is weak
Internet is spotty and slow
Our cable company recently switched from Insight to Comcast. Both our internet and our cable services have gone down. The prices have gone up. I preface this by saying that we received a notice last week that all prices are going up. Some things ...

Pros: Comcast is good, providing you are city, not rural. They also like giving competitors customers. Cons: This limits our town's ability to get fair and equitable access to television services.
I live in Bowdoin Maine and we have a town contract with Comcast. As the contract states, Comcast will supply cable t.v. to areas with at least 19 houses per mile. Which is o.k., in the city. But most of Bowdoin is rural and houses are ...

Pros: One of a very limited number of options for television service. Cons: Lousy customer service. Untrained and unreliable service people.
I have been a satisfied analog customer of Direct TV for about seven years, but decided to switch to Comcast for digital HDTV. What a mistake! The serviceman came to my house two days ago to install the service and, about an hour later, announced it ...

Pros: High speed interet is satisfactory. Cons: Limited voicemail, poor support, shifty marketing.
A well trained sales rep. dropped by my office one day, holding a brochure and a smile. He was very helpful and accommodating. The quote he gave me was about $100 per month less than what he claimed was "the same services I had with ATT". So after ...

Pros: Good Cable TV service, On Demand offers free programs and many new release titles. Cons: Frequent outages, false advertising, unqualified installers, billing errors
I have had Comcast and while I love their on demand cable programs and had no major outages. Their internet and phone services were not as trouble free. Frequent phone and internet outages, errors in billing for equipment and lackluster customer ...

Pros: Cable is good, when it works. Again, when it works. Again, when it WORKS. Cons: Liars, true liars. Absolutely the WORST customer serivce I have every experienced. Truly incompetent techs.
Comcast cable goes out every 3 weeks - like clockwork. This has been going on since January 2008. It is now early May 2008. I have called Comcast easily over a dozen times and what do I get: hung-up on - no-call, no-show techs - lied to by customer ...

Pros: None that we have found Cons: Horrible customer service; horrible "service"
We switched to the Comcast triple play thinking we would save money. They had our phone # ported from AT&T before our phone line was installed. Result - our phone # of 12 years was disconnected. We have gone 9 days without a landline and have been ...
