Pros: Initially great service when you first sign up. Afterwards, they really won't treat you great. Cons: Mediocre service and incompetent customer representatives.
We recently transferred to a new residence and had an appointment on Tuesday to have our service transferred there. However, the signal could not be located by Comcast, so the earlier appointment time was SUNDAY 8-11am for someone to come out and take a ...

Pros: TV, Internet, Phone, OK. No major issues, yet. Cons: Customer service, billing, etc, are absolutely terrible.
The TV, Internet, and Phone has actually been fine, mostly. The problem is that the company is so disjointed and disorganized that when something goes wrong, it goes really, really wrong. Our TV (with cable card) was stolen over 3 years ...

Pros: None. Cons: Continual lies and misrepresentations from Comcast service representatives.
In August 2009, I used the Comcast.com website to initiate what was represented as a 'service transfer' since I was moving from one town to another within the same state. I entered all of the information about the date of my move, etc. Three days ...

Pros: Equipment fits nicely into a recently emptied DirecTV box for the trip back to Comcast Cons: Antiquated DVR hardware, poor software, spotty signal, customer service is poorly organized and trained.
I was a comcast digital customer who decided to upgrade to hid-def dvr. These are just a few of the ways comcast blew it.1. No delivery of equipment. 2. Comcast phone rep sent me to a specific field office (near home not work) to get HD ...

Pros: None. Cons: Expensive, HORRIBLE picture quality, channel selection stinks, and they are a monopoly where I live.
Comast Cable is horrible. The picture quality would be the same if I hooked my TV up to rabbit ears. Horizontal, vertical and diagonal scrolling lines running through the picture, distorted colors, ghosting, flickering, white bars running vertically down...

Pros: NONE Cons: Cost, Service, Outages
When Comcast Cable took over Jones Intercable here in Albuquerque, I obviously had no choice if I wanted cable TV. They have raised their prices, their digital cable is not what they make it out to be and their customer service has gone downhill fast....

Pros: lots of channels Cons: bad human service, slow
I don't live in a rural area. I don't live in an urban area. Where I live, it's always hard to get any top-notch services without having to wait a couple of years after the third-world countries get tired of them. As far as Comcast, it does the job, I...

Pros: Fast Internet Cons: Lousy Service, Misleading, Failure to Honor Promotions, Phone Bulletin Boards
I called Comcast in late December 2001 to ask about getting comcast@home added to my cable TV service. The internet access is much faster, but the company is not honoring its promise.
When I talked to a salesperson in December they said they...

Pros: Good reception on most channels Cons: Too expensive, unreliable
I was quite happy with the quality and price of my cable service by Barden Cablevision until the company was purchased by Comcast. Over the years my cable bill has nearly tripled and customer service is poor. The cable goes out several times a year for...

Pros: It's only $35 and I can't even watch the news Cons: It's $35 and I can't even watch the news!!!
I dispise anything and everything about Comcast cable. I live in in S. Florida, and out of the 60 odd channels that I get 10 are worth watching, half of those are the news, and even those don't come in clear!
I was flipping through the...

Pros: a good deal IF...IF...IF Cons: not what it's cracked up to be
In my last opinion on cable, I addressed them offering programming and not providing it. There are many aspects to cable in which you could be dissatisfied or satisfied, I guess. Programming, reception, outage time, price and of course, customer...

Pros: Service and quality Cons: Price
Considering Comcast is the only cable provider in my town, I'm forced to choose it. Not that they're all bad, their service and quality has been very good. But when it comes to prices, I think they're way over charging.
I definitely think...

Pros: Service, Dependability Cons: Most everything else
Comcast is an average cable provider at best. There is too little of the channels I want to see, and too many of what I don't. For example, No fox or disney. Yes to golf and B.E.T. Sorry, but watching fox and friends is more exciting to me than...
