***********COMCAST CABLE IS COMPLETE CRAP!!*************
I'll Keep it short, simple & sweet b/c I don't want to waste more of my precious time on this GreedMonster of a company. They have a monopoly, they play games, they send technicians to my house when I did **NOT** make an appointment. They Deceive people. They send their technicians to your house **WITHOUT** Any appointment, so they can try to sell u on their other services (which I would never sign up with) & they try to "Case your house" so they can see what they can have someone try to steal things @ a later date. And they just plain ****SUCK!!***** I can't wait until the cable industry deregulates THIS GREEDMONSTERS of a company.
PLAIN, SHORT & SIMPLE >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Comcast: Not for Smart People
by happyhillbilly ,Jun 08 '04
Pros: Good Channels Cons: Couldn't even begin...
Comcast has false advertising: Smart TV for Smart People. First of all if you want ot call TV "Smart" Comcast isn't, Secondly Smart people don't choose Comcast. So now they have On Demand. Well it looks great, but I have no experience since whenever I go to On Demeand it says "Communications Problem". Then I called Comcast and they fixed it for an hour, then it wouldn't work. The price is riduclus. Fourty buks a month not including digital or movie channels? It's insane! The Comcast channels have the crappiest picture quality. The digital channels have no diffrent picture quality, but the picture still has to "break" and "load". So please, DONT GET COMCAST!

Comcast/communists,,,state monopolies are guaranteed to be HORRIBLE !!
by cal48boy ,Sep 12 '05
Pros: The 800 # for customer service is for frequent complaining. Cons: Overpriced, ill mannered, monopolistic mediocre, politicians saddled us with this ???!!!
We have a relatively new tv, but the picture quality and wide variation is sound level from station to station on Comcast cable tv service is driving us ,,,very very unhappy !!
And when you phone their customer service 800 number there is the usual-background message is we really do not want to talk to you-tedious long 8-10 button phone tree to go thru without any chance to just dial "O" for a live person,or even a dead person !! Usually the attitude of the rep of Comcast is bored,,,impolite with out a good morning or good afternoon, plese and thank you ,customary civility,,,so you just want to yell and scream,,,which doesn't seem to work cuz Comcast probably gets alot of very unhappy customer monopoly phone calls.
Oh, if you want a laugh, read mallow6's review,,,a college student here in Silicon Valley also ,but obviously he thinks terrible service that he describes is 4 star good!!,,, Drugs,,,or just immaturity,,,or payola,,,???

Comcast Sucks
by dinodad ,Jul 08 '05
Pros: There are none. Cons: The fact that they are permitted to conduct business.
Comcast purports to be a cable provider of HDTV service. I have waited patiently for months while they try to get their act together so that this service offering works with cablecards as Comcast advertises. Basically, Comcast lies and their personnel are ignorant and incompetent.
I now wait anxiously for the local phone company to offer cable tv through just installed optcial fiber cable.
In short, Comcast's customer representatives are folks who don't possess enough gray matter to pump gas or work in McDonalds. Quite, frankly, i consider them as not being house broken. The technical representatives are not much better.
Comcast should be banned from offering any form of communication services that is more complicated than two tin cans connected by a string.
Subscribe to Comcast and be prepared for constant grief.
