Pros: Decent picture quality and channel selection Cons: Poor reliability, outages, throttling, and price for performance.
I never thought it could happen, but I miss Comcast. At first it seemed like it just might be my apartment, but after talking with several people the Herndon area is just pretty bad. There are constant service interruptions, loss of ...

Pros: Fast most of the time. Cons: When it goes bad they tell stories, blame the customer.
Yes there are times when internet must go down for maintenance or upgrades, preferably not often and definitely should let customers know ahead of time. My work is done from home and depends on a decent internet connection. This week the ...

On Thursday, I ordered the installation of Cox cable and an increase in speed on the internet service I currently receive. I was scheduled to have the services installed today between 3 and 5pm MST. Nobody showed. At 5:30pm MST, I ...

Pros: Customer Service, Quality, Price, Billing Cons: One bad customer service experience, but that's to be expected.
After years of dealing with Comcast, I was hesitant to go back to getting cable television. When I had a bachelor pad several years ago, and after canceling their service and returning their boxes, they sent me a letter stating that I had not ...

Pros: Some good channels Cons: Bad customer service, many useless channels, low quality, poor billing cycles....
Where do I start with Cox Cable? I have no clue. The bad just out weighs the good in every possible sense. I am a subscriber and have been for years. I live in Rhode Island and unfortunately can not switch to any other company that offers the channels ...

Pros: Excellent customer service, highly dependable, and quality television. Cons: Pricy especialy the telephone.
I've had Cox internet for as long and I can remember and its service is very reliable and has given me a hassle-free internet service for a very long time. When I went for a vacation for about a month, they allowed me to suspend the account but I could ...

Pros: Connection is pretty reliable, and phone line is indeed clear of any static. Cons: Service is poor beyond any description. Customer service reps are not helpful, polite or respectful.
I first ordered Cox cable and internet when I moved to Arizona last summer and was dismayed to find out that they did not offer a wireless modem/router as an option. What century are they living in? So I bought my own, but then they provided no support ...

Pros: Unbelievable fast internet Cons: They f*cked my account royally when I moved.
First, this isn't a product. It is a service. I would hope to think that Cox Communications would look up the definition of that word. It couldn't hurt, that's for certain. I moved from one house to another within the same town. When I moved, Cox ...

Pros: only cable internet provider for the state Cons: only cable internet provider for the state, very rude customer service reps
So after getting sick of dial up internet, I decided to go with high speed internet. My only choices for my area(which is the tiny state of RI) are DSL with verizon or cable with COX. As you can see, these are both very limiting choices. I had my land ...

Pros: Thinking,,,,,, Cons: Service, price, equipment capabilities, quality of reception
We had Cable America for years and a few months ago they were bought out by Cox. Well, let me say the change in service has been very upsetting. We have the internet and cable, and DVR service. Well, the cable channels tile all of the time, or don't ...

Pros: Honestly, there isn't a single positive thing I can say about Cox Communications. Cons: Pretty much everything -- Customer Service, Billing, Techs, and most of all -- COST!!
In as little detail as possible: Cox bought Cable America. Cox completely biffed the entire switchover. During the next 2 months, the following major issues (I'm leaving out the more minor ones) occurred every week or so: HD quit working. DVR ...

Pros: see statement Cons: see statement
I would like all of you to know that as a call center rep for 12 years with Cox I have put up with a lot of s@*t from abusive customers and ungrateful management. Most of the time I do my best to help whoever is on my line because I do know my job and ...

Pros: None? Cons: Horrible!
First off; Internet reliability is BAD, went from consistent latency to a site like Google.com (of 30ms average) from 20ms to 900ms and ALOT of dumped packets. Customer service first blames by router and cable modem. Had the tech come over and ONLY ...
