Pros: road runner, movie channels, remote control Cons: customer service
Time Warner Cable is too large for its britches. It has grown too big to remember that the customers are what made it profitable and the size it is. Well that and cornering the marketplace and being the only cable service in town. The pay per view movie...

Pros: good customer service Cons: no local channels, inconsistent billing
For those reading this that are not in the Milwaukee area, there is no choice in cable TV providers. It is Time Warner or nothing.
It all started when I finally could afford cable tv. I called Time Warner and scheduled an appointment. They...

Pros: always updating Cons: none
For the last couple of years now Time Warner has been running my local cable provider, and ever since they took over I've seen many improvements in the area. They have updated our cable channels and they now offer Digital Cable, which is well woth it's...

Pros: Umm Only Cable Service Offered in Houston Cons: Everything...Price/Service/Reliability
Poor AOL,
Dear AOL, I am sorry that you did not look into the company that you are buying. I have to say that the service that Time Warner Cable provides in Houston,TX is the worst. They have worked at improving their appointment times but...

Pros: they credit your account when they screw up Cons: they do have some static, and do go off the air alot
I have had Cable and roadrunner internet cable service here in Hawaii, and I have had Time Warner Cable in other states as well and for the most part I am pleased, but I have found that they do not hire experienced workers to repair things, but they do...

Pros: don't have to use rabbit ears Cons: no control over services
So you think Microsoft is a monopoly? No Time Warner Cable is...not only do they not give me the choice of channels, but they don't give me a choice not to use their service. What's worse is they act like the monopoly they are. Remember cable...

Pros: Great selection of channels including Music Choice Cons: This price is a little high but I may just be cheep
I am so glad to finally live in an area that offers Time Warner cable. I used to have Cablevision. For about the same amount of money I now receive two of my favorite things about Time Warner cable, Music Choice and CMT.
I love music,...

Pros: more choice in programming Cons: just hope that the service is working
As a young adult out in the world alone, you can imagine what a milestone it was when I was FINALLY able to afford cable. The only problem with that milestone is that the joy of having all those new programs to watch was very short lived.
I...

Pros: Price, Channel Selection, Customer Service, PPV, new box and remote, On-Screen Guide Cons: Still need box for services above standard, download time, limit on scheduled events, Premium Channel Prices
I'll admit it, Time Warner Cable has a tendency to monopolize any town its in. For example, I live in Chapel Hill, NC, which completely surrounds the town of Carrboro. For the longest time, we had Cablevision, till Time Warner came in and ate them up....

Pros: only cable in my area Cons: everything else
This is the only cable provider in our area, so this is what we have. What they are is a PAIN in the rear. From day one, customer service has been less than quality ... when they came to hook up our cable, they hooked up the outside line, then brought...

Pros: I can watch television any time I want to. Cons: Another huge Multi-National Conglomerate who thinks we are morons.
We recently dumped CableVision here in my small midwestern city, and Time Warner moved to town. Time Warner owns everything under the sun. Think of something totally abstract and unlikely. Time Warner owns it. Sumatran Marriage Ritual Reinactment...

Pros: lots of channels, reliable, no down-times, offer cable modem service, good quailty, ditital reception, good prodcuts, it's free for me! Cons: price if you have to pay for it, sine they are a controlled monopoly you know, & AOL Recently bought (merged) with it. So i expect to see pop up ads on my tv soon.
Yes, Yes, Yes, I am writing a bias review of Time Warner Cable Service. But this is because I only know the best of their service. You see, my mother works for Time Warner as a customer service representative, and therefor we get all of the free cable...

Pros: Good Channels Cons: non
I have been a watcher of Time Warner Cable since I was a little girl(18 now) and I've been a satisfied viewer. Yea, there are times when there is nothing worth watching on t.v., but you don't want to spend all the free time you want watching television....

Pros: Many channels Cons: Don't need them all, costs too high, bad service
A few years back the Kenosha area was being serviced by a company called Jones Intercable. The only words to describe that system was "it sucked". When Time Warner Cable took over the franchise we had hoped for better service and more...

Pros: More program offerings than the networks Cons: High cost, limited offerings in the basic package
Having to subscribe to Time Warner cable reminds me of the old Wendy's commercial, where Clara Peller cries, "Where's the Beef?"
Everyone talks about the price of cable, and the value that the consumer gets for the ever-rising price...
