Pros: Free tasting, wide selection, dessert wines and port, lots of gifts to choose from, great employees Cons: Crowded, IMHO the whites and reds are just average
Summary: I'm a big fan of smaller wineries. They typically have, in my opinion, better wines, employees with better attitudes, and most importantly, smaller crowds.

Summary: V. Sattui is usually a must-stop for any day trip to Napa. Not because of the wines -- because they're only so-so -- but because of the extensive deli and pleasant setting.
On any Saturday during nice weather, this place is packed. The parking ... read more

Pros: Simply wonderful wines, year after year. You can order by email with confidence Cons: Wines not offered in retail stores on the East Coast: order by email.
Summary: We have been enjoying V. Sattui wines for over ten years. It is amazing to us how they can produce wines of such high quality at reasonable prices. Their Suzanne's, Preston and Morisoli Vineyards cabernets are consistently excellent to extraordinary.
