I pay my account on time and have had the credit card for 2-3 years and loved it but Bank of America is cancelling my account. My card expires in May and I assumed that I would automatically be sent a new card. Instead I was sent a letter informing me that my account was being cancelled and I was not being sent a new card because of my credit history. I don't think my credit has changed much since I was issues the card, at least negatively. If anything it should have improved. I've paid off my auto loan and another credit card since opening this account. I've never heard of a creditor cancelling an existing account due to issues with other creditors. The only postive is that I am now entitled to a free credit report.
