America West Flight Fund Visa (Bank of America)

Pros: doesn't take long to get your first free ticket, low intro apr., decent credit limit.

Pros: Good customer service
Cons: America West has terrible partnerships, and unclear reward rules with it's partners. No true B of A quicken support.

Bank of America provides good customer service with this card. The B of A reps don't know anything about America West, however.

America West is not a good choice to rack up frequent flyer miles on. They do not have extensive partnerships...

Pros: Lower miles required for coach ticket redemption.
Cons: Smaller regional airline.

While America West is a regional airline serving fewer airports than major carriers, a coach class reward ticket can be redeemed for as little as 20,000 miles. For an additional 5,000 miles, a stopover is allowed at their one of their HUBs, allowing two destinations for only 25,000 miles. If you live near a an airport served by America West, this card is a good value. The credit card has average rates and fees.
