Pros: Impeccable customer service combined with an excellent rewards program Cons: Somewhat limited acceptance
Diners Club is the best charge card in it's class
Diners Club International is a charge card issued by Citibank tailored for those who routinely travel, however I would recommend it to anyone and everyone I know, and therefore am...

Pros: Excellent Customer Service and Payment Flexibility Cons: Limited Acceptance
Diners Club Corporate Card
When I changed employers last May, I was given a corporate Citibank Diners Club card. My new employer pays the annual fee for the card, and I pay the $75 enrollment in the Rewards Program, making the Diners...

Pros: Service, 60-Day Billing Cycle, ClubRewards Cons: Limited US Accpetance
I have been a Diners Club Cardmember since 1994. I have also carried an American Express Platinum Card since 1992. Although American Express has superb travel services -- both for booking and for emergency assistance --I would never give up my Diners...

Pros: Great service, great points program Cons: Not accepted in enough restaurants, stores
For eight years, I was a Diners Club card holder through my employer, who provided all of us with a card. At first, I was like, "Diners Club? Who takes that?" However, as a business traveler, I soon came to realize, that with the exception...

Pros: Excellent customer service, great rewards programme Cons: Not very widely accepted in retail outlets in USA
About six months after I became a personal Diners Club member about three years ago, my company decided to use Diners Club also for our corporate travel program. A great decision in my mind! Let me tell you why I like Diners Club so much:

Pros: Cheery, Humane Service; Superior Benefits; Good Signup Bonus Cons: Limited Acceptance
Stack Diners Club up against American Express and Diners wins every round but one. Diners is THE BEST CHARGE CARD -- as distinct from credit cards -- that you can get. I jumped ship from Amex to DC last year... and I can recommend the move.

Pros: primary auto collision & damage insurance for rental car. Cons: not widely accepted
first, let me talk about the bright side of Diner's Club card,
1) you can have the primary auto collision & damage insurance when you rent a car, this is only available at Diner's Club if I remember it right. usually CDW is about 13 big buck per...

Pros: NOTHING AT ALL BESIDE YOU CAN GET NICE WAITING TONE, IS CLASSICAL MUSIC. Cons: I NOT TRUST ON DINERS CLUB SERVICE.
I feel disappointed with the service that DINERS CLUB Malaysia provided. I don't understand they can simply give promise to their customer but can't make it at the end. I apply for a DINERS CLUB MALAYSIA in the beginning of SEPTEMBER. After few weeks, ...

Pros: Flexible Rewards, great service, 60 days to pay, auto insurance coverage Cons: Limited acceptance
I have been using Diners Club for a couple of years and have been very pleased with the card and services. One of the most unique features of the card is the lack of phone menus on calls to support. This is truly refreshing. One call and I am speaking to...

Pros: Amazing customer service Cons: I wish it was accepted at more places
I was pretty peeved at first when my company switched from using American Express to Diners. It seems that too many people were buying Victoria's Secret items and not paying their bills. But I've grown to really like the Diners Club Card
The...

Pros: Plenty of upscale service. Not drooling idiots at the 1 800 2 DINERS number. Cons: There is a hefty fee for the card. And hard at times to find acceptance.
Hi there,
I have been a CitiBank Diner's Club card member since 1994. I have never had such a good experience with a credit card.
This card works much like "American Express" You charge items to your account. At the end of...

Pros: Amazing customer service. Cons: Low acceptance
You shouldn't throw out your other credit cards because Diner's Club cards are not accepted widely in the United States. I recently accepted the $300 per year Diners Club/Carte Blanche card and it is the best $300 per year I've ever spent. The...

Pros: Taken everywhere MasterCard is, GREAT rewards program. Cons: NONE..
The Diners Club Card has a 95.00 annual fee; it’s an extra 35.00 if you add an authorized user to the account. One thing that’s great is Diners Club now uses the MasterCard logo for all U.S. cards. The Diners Club family of cards are accepted everywhere ...

Pros: None Cons: Non-responsiveness of customer service

Can't Upgrade
by airbob35 ,Feb 23 '06
Pros: MasterCard network of retailers; Global Airport Lounge Access; Foreign Currency Delivery Service Cons: No More 62 Day Billing Cycle; Lack of Upgrade to Carte Blanche
I've been a loyal DC member since 2001 and average between $3,000 and $5,000 a month in purchases. I am so loyal that this is the only card that I EVER use. Today I called to upgrade my card to the Carte Blanche card and I was told that I would have to close my existing account and apply for the Carte Blanche card separately. The application and approval process would take 15 - 30 days. This has to be the worst policy in the credit card industry. Why would you want to alienate a good that pays their balance in full every month? Other companies are happy to upsell you to another card that has a much higher annual fee ($95 to $300). Needless to say, I am looking forward to making the American Express Platinum card my card of choice. I will miss many of the benefits associated with Diners Club such as access to airport lounges around the world and the foreign currency delivery service.
